I like in the improved version :)

Crazy high fees

The service fees are INSANE, way higher than the industry average. For instance, a place listed at 110$/night results in a 150$ charge to the client and a 71$ payout to the host. This is CRAZY. Also the app is poorly designed. I do not understand how it get so high reviews. Its best for travelers to check the listings on misterbnb then check for the same listing on Airbnb or Booking to complete the transaction. It will be WAY cheaper and more reliable.

Always a great place to stay right in the middle of everything we need in downtown Lisbon! Great host, friendly and a very quite place where you can sleep with tranquility! Very clean place ! This was my second time there and I will be back for sure ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️stars !

Glad I have found this app for travel as a proud Gay Couple, enjoy finding areas in the city within my community, connecting with like minded individuals, sharing spaces, to sofa surfing to the community opening up their home to us, looking forward to travelling with this app around the globe.

Hostal from Hell in Malaga

Mister B&B needs to physically and in person verify that the information in the listings is accurate. I booked and paid for three nights at Balcony and Room Malaga Centro. Once the owner received payment several days before and after he obtained all my personal information, he shut off his phone he and did not emails nor WhatsApp questions. He texted he would give me the security codes at 3 pm on my arrival for entry at 4 pm. I waited outside in the rain and finally a resident let me in the building. It took several emails to Mister B&B ( whose staff helped resolve the issue) before I was able to enter several hours later. This is a lack of total respect for me as a client. The photos of the room are very misleading. Broken appliances and fixtures. Delapidated structures. No working shower heads. Leaky toilet. …. It goes on …. The room needs a deep cleaning and disinfecting although the cleaning lady does her best with the limited time she is paid. Four other clients who I met outside while I was there had similar frustrations but waited less time. Avoid this place at all because there more respectful places in Malaga.

Problematic for hosts.

I am a host in Toronto. The fees are REALLY high to use as a host. I kept getting guests from France, and only France, for some reason. They would file bogus complaints with the app, and I would have to offer discounts to get paid. If a guest files a complaint, no matter how insignificant, you have to come to an agreement with the guest to get paid. The thing is - CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER CONTACTS YOU. you have to chase them down and force them to deal with it. Then payment is delayed up to a week. I found the customer service area VERY slow and you have to keep them on track and fix any problems that arise. They really just act as a conduit for money. It’s also a slower traffic rate than more popular apps, and difficult to charge a reasonable rate. It doesn’t require a license (city of Toronto requires this to use Airbnb) so that’s really the only bonus.
