How much does Motion cost?
Motion has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 289.99 $.
I am a person who buys apps that make my day more productive. This is so expensive, and you need to ask for such a huge payment, at least a month down the track, once you have plenty of time to test the potential value of the app to your productivity. For such a huge expense, a person needs to be very convinced about the return on investment, and a 7 day free trial to totally insufficient in relation to the cost
Not very helpful for individuals
People who are paying $228 p.a. for a scheduling app, definitely wanted to save time. Unfortunately, this app does not offer that, at least for me as a busy individual person.
It is very difficult to start off with, this app asks too much information to create an event, and requires some knowledge about how calendar sync works.
Although it’s a good idea to shuffling events around, this app is not smart enough to recognise the location of these events (travelling time requirement), nature of the event etc. Lunch time and dinner time surely can move around according to the schedule, but this app prompts clashing and made me to learn its stubborn rules. The scheduling is a total mess.
Essentially, it has wasted me 2 hours before I decide to leave this app. The most triggering moment is they ask for my feedback while I am trying hard to learn how to use this app. If you have not had enough non-developers tried this app for more than a week, then you should make this free of charge until you’re ready.
Are you really ready to deliver your promises and charge me $228 per year?
Probably the worst app installed on my phone
The app has improved but it is still terrible. Every time I open it, it freezes for 30 seconds and I can't do anything on my calendar until it updates. Even if I just want to mark a task done or go to settings. The whole UI is spas-tic. Sure the features are good but what's the point if you don't get the basics right?
Support non existent
Love the software but if you have questions or need support there only seems to be a bot to help.
No live chat, no contact forms, no emails or phone numbers that I can find anywhere.
Great software needs great support to deliver a complete package.
It’s a real shame!
Probably the worst app installed on my phone
Sorry but the title is no lie. I like Motion. But the only reason I have the iOS app is if I need to done one very specific thing in a limited way - add a single task. The app is really buggy. Just opened it now and it was black with no loading splash. If I were Motion, I would delete this from the app store rather than risk reputation. I know you aren’t going to fix anything, any time soon. Pity. Motion is good.
Functions are buggy
I really wanted to try this app as it looked awesome and pay for it, but no way to actually use it when it doesn’t work and is unresponsive.
Well worth the investment
I cannot recommend this enough!
Life changing for productivity
I’m truly amazed at how well this organized my day and how I got so much done
Motion
Make sure you read the directions and this application is well worth the investment across all your devices and platforms.
Desktop is great - app not so much
Desktop version of this has been AMAZING, If I could rate that I’d rate it 5 stars (the only feedback there is I still feel like I’m not utilizing its full potential, if you can refer me to a place that has all the features/and how to do them that’d be great)
The app on the other hand is missing a lot and is not stable whatsoever, soon as I click an event the app crashes for example.
Soon as these are solved I’m ready to give this product a high rating, the mobile app just needs attention.
