Still early days as a user but having issues - formatting of scheduler invites is off (recipients pointing it out and not as slick as Calendly) - when I raise issues I get given answer which turns out not to be true (scheduler attaches an annoying add to every link - not good for clients to receive) - just tested scheduler on my work email and it hasn’t set up a calendar entry?
Very horrid experience with this company. After trialing the app and noticing it would not benefit me as much refund and cancellations have become a nightmare. First of it took weeks before they even responded to my cancellation request and even longer to process a refund. To top it all off the company still continues to debit £27 from my account every month even after cancellation. I have written to the company several times to no avail. It’s as though once they get your card details then the service drops considerably. Secondly, there is barely any support from this company. Setting up was horrid and took days to even get it integrated with my calendar. The interface in the ads are completely different and misleading. If I had a better experience it would have been worth using this app. But for a little over an average app with a horrid experience I find it hard to consider reusing this app. And as I type this I am still awaiting a response from customer service regarding cancellation and refunds after months of making contact. Very disappointing.

Felt like such a scam the entire time I was using it. It takes you to a website for your bank details before anything else, and is really difficult to set up even after setting up the subscription. I gave up trying to sign in after half an hour and decided to just cancel the free trial/ subscription but they made this difficult too. I had to cancel in through my bank as it never truly felt cancelled through the website and you cant remove your account or card information after either. It's just not worth it in my opinion.
Sign up process is intentionally sludgey. Signed up using Google signup process. Then got told if I want to cancel free trial I need to use desktop. Then when I log in via Google there is “no account found”, yet they’re ready to bill me at end of trial. I then reset password and magically there was an account associated to it. I managed to log in, but no option to cancel free trial or anything… just automatic charge I assume? Haven’t even got the the app use yet because that very first stage is so full of sludge!!!!
Motion is great, i've used other calendar and planning apps (asana, Google Calendar etc) but Motion is the only app that actually lets me disconnect from the planning process and focus on my tasks. This app changed my day to day routine, so worth it!
Used to be insanely glitchy, now it’s faster than the desktop app
When I first tried this app it only offered connection to Google calendars. That wasn’t great for me because my life is in my iCal. Now that integration is working, Motion is amazing. I love the ability to fix ranges of times on set days if the week in which particular tasks can be assigned (eg I tell it when lane swimming is available at my local pool and it suggests times to go). The one feature I wish it had is an iPhone widget so I can see at a glance on my phone what I’m supposed to be doing!
First few days in and after a massive move of my tasks and projects over to Motion (from Notion) I’m happy to say that it was worth it. So far it has already helped me create multiple schedules that fit with different aspects of my life and calendar and schedule work + life accordingly to when I can actually do it. Keen to see how much it continues to help me in the coming months. Simple to use, and so far very effective!
Yes I do mean Notion. I have set up a filtered Zapier task to create tasks in Motion when a task is assigned to me in Notion. It works like a dream.
