This application performs following functions for purposes described below.
- Making a connection under Wi-Fi enabled environment
The application uses Wi-Fi function on your mobile terminal for the purpose of operating network-enabled devices.
- Accessing to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet
This application accesses to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet for the purpose of displaying, playing and editing the music information and/or playlist.
To setup your MusicCast devices, this app needs to find your Wi-Fi network as location information. This app doesn’t collect your actual location using GPS or Wi-Fi based positioning technologies.

Todella kehno äppi. Bugailee, katkaisee yhteyttä, ei toimi äänenvoimakkuuden säätö, pitää bootata monta kertaa

Aina ei yhdistä Genelecin kaiuttimiin. Äänet myös menee usein minimiin kun vaihtaa Spotifystä esim. soittolistaa. Hyvä kone mutta epästabiili.

Tee yhteyden korjaus seuraavasti
Näyttää, että Yamaha MusicCast (wxc-051) kaiuttimet toimii vain 2.4 ghz verkossa. Nykyiset reitittimet ”sekoittavat/steering” sekä 2.4 ja 5g taajuudet. Ongelma korjaantuu, kun tuon ”steering” asetuksen automaation poistaa ja asettaa erikseen 2.4 ja 5g taajuudet. Sen jälkeen MusicCast sovelluksen yhdistää vain tuohon 2.4 verkkoon. Huomioitavaa on myös, että järjestelmän resetoi eli poistaa laitteet ja sen jälkeen asentaa App uudelleen. TÄRKEÄÄ on siis REITITTEMESTÄ poistaa automaatio 2.4 ja 5g osalta ja jakaa se manuaalisesti kahteen taajuuteen :)
Quite unreliable
Had a multiroom system for some 6-7 years now and really can’t trust it to ever work smoothly. If its not losing connection or crackling the sound it might surprise me and the neighbors by putting the volume to the max without a warning. Not highly recommended at least from my experience. Still I use it as I have put some money into it and it works ok 50% of the time or even more. 😅
Sony hardware sucks
Wifi and BT both lag like hell. Had to sell the ”streamer”
