- Making a connection under Wi-Fi enabled environment
The application uses Wi-Fi function on your mobile terminal for the purpose of operating network-enabled devices.
- Accessing to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet
This application accesses to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet for the purpose of displaying, playing and editing the music information and/or playlist.
To setup your MusicCast devices, this app needs to find your Wi-Fi network as location information. This app doesn’t collect your actual location using GPS or Wi-Fi based positioning technologies.

I really don’t understand how they get those high ratings.
This is one of the worst useless apps I have ever used. No, this is simply a worst brainless app. Follow the steps to set ip my Vinyl 500. Every time when it says switch to setting and connect to MusicCastSetup and come back. The app simply starts from the beginning. Just a forever loop. I got it lucky once and got it setup to complete. It worked but when i switch to Vinyl and switch back, everything was lost. And i have to do those stupid loops again hoping I get lucky again to complete the setup. Yama folks, just hire a decent app developer and learn how to program the IOS.

can’t connect anymore
after updating to the latest version of app, this app just can remotely power on/off the machine, playback can’t work under spotify.
