- Making a connection under Wi-Fi enabled environment
The application uses Wi-Fi function on your mobile terminal for the purpose of operating network-enabled devices.
- Accessing to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet
This application accesses to music information stored in your smartphone / tablet for the purpose of displaying, playing and editing the music information and/or playlist.
To setup your MusicCast devices, this app needs to find your Wi-Fi network as location information. This app doesn’t collect your actual location using GPS or Wi-Fi based positioning technologies.

Funker bra når den funker, men..
Når spotify plutselig ikke vil streame på forsterkeren må jeg vente på ny oppdatering før jeg kan spille musikk igjen. Veldig klønete og komplisert skjema for tilbakemeldinger om bugs som burde vært en selvfølge at ble fikset. Vanskelig å vite om problemet ligger hos spotify eller yamaha, men uansett irriterende for oss brukere.

Supert opplegg
Bruker det mye til bl.a strømming av netteadio via mobilen.

Decent sound, UX could be improved
I run 10 unit, 20 speaker setup in my living room. Good power in the WXA 50’s and app works well when you get used to it, but sometimes I lose contect with the wireless yamaha units. All in all happy!
