hi! As this new UI version of musiccast has been released, my sytem totally messed up. When i first time used the app, it forgot my devices, i had to repair again. When it was successful, after half an hour using, it forgot again.. :( Apple Airplay is gone.. The old app was worked well, iam saticefied about the new one.. I can not able to use my Yamaha Rx-v4a..
The app fogets time to time devices and i have to add then as new again and again..
I use the MusicCast system since release but the new version 5 release is the biggest step so far. At the beginning was a bit difficult but for now I love it. Big compliment for the developers!
It's not an intuitive app at all. Very slow and hard to use. If you want to search songs on your NAS or on a streamer it takes ages compare to TIDAL/Spotify connect. Especially when you want to change sources between songs. I use MusicCast for 3 years now and there was only minimal improvement since then. It's only good if you listen full albums.
It is frustrating not being able to scroll into songs on nas drives and on tidal. Tidal does not show , which song is the mqa version. No MQA support on av receivers , however the dac would know it :(
Volume control does not work, the values are completely different, it's really useless. Have to tap into 10 different menus to get the most basic setups (eg surround, sub volume, target, etc) and maybe the worst of all : NO FEEDBACK OPTION!!!!
The application is ok until you want to use the streaming services, like Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, etc. The libraries load very slow, the app doesnt save it on its memory, every single time it downloads the whole stuff again. You aren’t able to fast forward in the track in Tidal, this is nearly ridiculous - even my TV can rewind/ff with the Tidal app. Heos does it also. They write, use the airplay - but if you are really into high quality listening experience, you know you shouldn’t use airplay. My Yamaha streamer sounds really nice, but this controller is almost nonusable for Tidal/Qobuz/Deezer streaming. :( please guys, save my streamer, and fix these things. I dont want to change it, it sounds really nice.
Szép munka! A csatlakozások rendben létre jönnek, két három eszközről is egyszerre akadás mentesen irányítható, attól függően épp mi van a kezem ügyében. Viszont az applewatch még hiányzik, mint önálló vezérlés, csak akkor aktív ha a telón is nyitva van az app, a háttér írányítás kilépés után nem elérhető. A hangerő vezérlés még késve, nagy ugrással reagál. A számokba nincs beletekerés lehetőség, ez viszont zavaró a válogatásnál, mintavételnél. Minden esetre egy új világ lehetőségét hozta el a stream-ben! Köszönet érte!
Excellent. I love it.
I use the Yamaha R-N602 and WX030 with app both device is up to date. N602 connected by lan cable, and 30 is by wifi. The network radio stations are not stable always stop musics for long time. And with spotify is much more wrong. Always lost connections in spotify app and must reconnecting the receiver after three four songs. Annoying!!!
