Camera doesn’t pick up QR code

Tried a couple phones to scan QR code with the camera but doesn’t pick up

Great product !

Very easy to install and the option to monitor the baby from your phone beside the display unit. I also like the night light feature on the cameras. Overall very happy.

Disconnects, lags and sets itself off

The monitor and the phone app continually disconnects from the camera. The camera has a number of sounds in which all set the sound alert off on monitor and phone when connected and actually working- super painful because you have to keep checking it’s not Bub and no turning sounds off isn’t something we can do. They help Bub too sleep though just at the expense of our sleep and sanity. More so on the phone then the monitor but when you select a sound, moving camera to side or set notification settings there is a huge lag, sometimes doesn’t even compute until the 3rd or 4th try. Not overly impressed with it at all, and definitely cannot connect monitor and camera without wifi. That just leads to more disconnects and lagging.

So slow

The app is super slow. Half the time it can’t retrieve recent events or fails to load. The camera takes a while to load in the app and can be very pixelated before it sorts itself out.

Units keep dropping out

Constantly having the issue of units dropping out when both direct and on wifi. Neither the monitor or our phones with the app will consistently display the video. Really frustrating as we just upgraded to the latest model units as our last one that was only 3 months old was doing the same and we were told the new technology is better. Worked brilliantly for a couple of weeks and now failing again. Not useful at all for its purpose and tech really need to look into a resolution as we aren’t the only ones with this issue. We have disconnected the cameras and ‘re-paired’ and still not working.

0 star if it was an option

It doesn’t work at all, the app won’t connect to the camera, just keeps saying offline while the camera is online and working on the parent unit. The old app was inconsistent while this app doesn’t work at all.

Worst app I’ve ever tried to use

I don’t understand how an app can be SO bad. It’s almost useless.

Cannot connect to my camera

Used to pair on the old app with no problem. Cannot seem to connect in the new app. Lucky I have a monitor, but phone app isn’t working.

New app is useless

Didn’t want to change the app but was forced to redownload when old app stopped working. New app will not connect to phone now so am unable to check in. Unbelievable annoying and pointless. There was no need and now they refuse to acknowledge they’ve messed up and fix the issue.

notifications not working

I used to love the app but then the notifications on my phone stopped working. Upgraded to this app hoping it was the fix but it’s not. I’ve emailed VTech twice about it to be told it’s my phone, my settings. They don’t listen to any of their customers as it seems multiple people are having this same issue. Take some responsibility and fix the issue, not blame the customer. Poor service and very disappointing considering the whole point of this is to know when your child needs you.
