Maybe an algorithm isn’t a bad thing :)
Nebula creators love to talk about how this platform doesn’t have an algorithm! They’re not here to force you to watch something you don’t want to watch. Except… that’s what they end up doing. This platform refuses to keep track of what you’re watching, and if it’s one singular channel, it will NEVER have that channel available - instead you see the mid video other mid creators have put out. Halfway through a podcast episode? The home page will not remember, you have to search it up and find the episode again. Have you been keeping up with a series that is probably a decent chunk of their viewership, and it’s the final? They don’t care, it won’t be on the home page. Reach for that search bar, again.
Better than it used to be.
I can now browse when I’m watching a video, but the casting is finicky and doesn’t always work. I don’t like using airplay as that limits me being able to browse while watching.
Now 100% propaganda
The severing of partnership from creator of second thought speaks volumes to nebulas increasing lack of integrity and mounting silencing of academics and thinker who speak up against oppression, imperialism and apartheid regime guiding as democracy and hence falsely claiming bastions of free speech. I paid for nebula even while I was struggling because some presences reflected their commitment to integrity. In some ways actions speak louder than words. Shame on rest of the nebula team. Y’all are as bad as the platforms you claim to diverge from!
I am sad that I paid for a whole year to support the increasing lack of journalistic integrity & now full blown propaganda sponsors like Johnny Harris and countless others.

Amazing content, dis functional app
The content here is the best anywhere, but it’s a 50/50 chance that clicking on a video will play it correctly, the minimise function doesn’t work at all, and playlist, trailers and videos are hard to distinguish. The probably needs to take lessons from Netflix rather than YouTube, because it’s hard to find and watch what your looking for.
App is great, when it works
Nebula is a great streaming service. Their website (nebula.tv) works well and is easy to use. However, their app is rather glitchy, and the minimise button on the video player never works, so I find myself just closing and reopening the app. It’s a bit disappointing considering it’s a paid streaming service with a poor app. Sometimes, videos play and I can hear the audio but there is no video, so I have to close the app entirely to fix this. However, nebula is a great streaming service and I love the videos and creators on it, the app just needs a bit of work.
Great content, but app still feels glitchy
I got this app as a result of a content creator I like from YouTube, so the content on here is awesome and ad free. The app doesn’t have auto play next episode, and it seems that after watching about 2 or 3 episodes via AirPlay, the whole system seems to glitch and won’t play via AirPlay at all. Despite closing and restarting app. This is annoying as I am really enjoying a few of the content creators’ work.
App works but needs a bit more help
The app works fine for what it needs minus the issue of not being able to exit a video sometimes and needing to close the app and re launch it to get out of the full screened video.
The content is amazing though and more than makes up for the issues
