i cannot get specific thumbnails to show up. just certain ones do. i would consider getting subscription but fear this is how the system is and would not want to pay for that.

App is outdated and has poor features
I have this system for about 5 years now and it hasn’t changed a single thing ever since. Missing features: - No dark mode (imagine adjusting the AC at night and getting blind in the process) - No scheduling rules (need to copy paste all days of the week - No awareness of outside temperature to adjust automatically - no widgets I could go on and on

Ever since you have changed to google none of the cameras work properly had no problems when done under nest
Mind of its own
The nest is pain. When I leave, I turn on Eco mode. But It has a mind of its own and turns the heat or a/c on while I'm away so I'm constantly checking the app and switching it back to Eco Mode. I don't get it!!?? Very frustrating that I can't set Eco mode and trust that it will stay on Eco mode until I return or decide to change it.

Takes too long to display who is at the door, you get to the door before the app is finished loading.
Not happy with service quality
Almost every time I go to use the app, it starts showing my systems, then switches to say it can’t connect and I need to log in again. Sits there for a long time, then goes back inside the app showing my systems. Sometimes it’s repeats again. Frustrating and I’m going to change to a new style of app and thermostats. What a wast of money!!! It is trying to make things more efficient but it’s not working out well for me. Im getting something different!!!
