Nest uses sensors, algorithms and the location of your phone to do the right thing automatically, turning off the heat and turning on the camera when you leave. Forget to set the alarm? It will notice, and send you a Remind Me alert.

The smoke and carbon monoxide alarm that thinks, speaks, and alerts your phone.

- Get an alert if Nest Protect senses smoke or carbon monoxide. (Requires Wi-Fi and a working internet connection.)
- Silence an alarm from your phone with App Silence. (Nest Protect 2nd gen only.)
- See the status of your batteries, sensors, and Wi-Fi connection.

Not worth it

I was expecting more features on the app but seems very basic, mostly with the weather in Dubai where humidity and temperature effect largely the overall temperature. The Eco system has no impact as it’s like being off when suppose to be an economy mode and no as NO mode, useless for this reason. The fan also same like the economy mode doesn’t add any value as it’s irrelevant to use it or not. Bottom like you pay the price of premium but you got a basic temperatures control.

Slow app and disconnect account

Super slow app and my account disconnects every week ! Please update this google ! Also update the nest audio devices ! In an era of ai g assistant is being dumber

I have really strong wifi in my house, all my other cameras from different companies work PERFECTLY, except for this nest cam! its super slow, lags alot! and turns offline all the time… super disappointed as this is the most expensive camera out of all the other cameras i have at home, yet functions the worst…
