1. Unable to properly select home country due to discrimination. 2. Able to log in, link to Google; and that's it. So despite me holding the device on my hand, and being the Google account owner, I can do nothing. 3. App notified that account is probably hacked and permission migrated. Then? Being the domain master, you obviously have more power than I do.
Bad also cannot use in Singapore
After Nest has bees acquired by google, I have lost control of my camera. It is very difficult to log in to see my camera and when I finally did it locks me out again after a few day. No one I can call to seek help. Sad. I was happily using Nest for many years until Google took over
Wanted to set up camera device with my Google Home app but it directed me to the Nest App. However, at the beginning of the set up, I already ran into problems because we are forced to select location and once you select Asia or Asia Pacific, only these countries are available China, Russia, Australia or New Zealand. As a result, I could not add the camera devices to Google Home. It’s ridiculous as there are so many other countries in Asia. In the past, I could still add the camera device without being forced to use the Nest App. Change it back.
Asia is defined as China and Russia?! WHAT THE.... no idea why this app is even allowed in here?! Goodness!
It asks: Where do you live? Asia? Choose from either China or Russia. Asia Pacific? Choose from either Australia or NZ. Really? REALLY? Come on! Global please.
Does not work in Singapore
My family used to be able to see the video streaming from China, but after accidentally agreed to merge/upgrade the Nest service with our gmail/Google account, my family doesn’t have access to the videos any more. It’s really frustrating that we cannot revert back to separate the Nest account and gmail account any more. What should we do?
Not for use in Singapore
The app hangs and doesn’t let you view past notification actions. So when you receive a notification and long press on the iPhone expecting to see the action nothing happens. Same goes for when you launch the app.
