How much does Nixplay cost?
Nixplay has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €23.81.
I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Nixplay. I invested in three of their devices, each costing over £100, with the expectation of enjoying the features they promised. However, without any prior warning, these features have been abruptly removed, leaving me with devices that are now significantly less functional. To regain access to these features, I am being forced to pay a yearly ‘ransom’ of £20, a fee that is likely to increase in the future. This situation is incredibly disheartening, as it feels like I have been deceived and taken advantage of. I am holding onto the devices in the faint hope that Nixplay will reconsider their policy and restore the original features without additional charges. However, if this does not happen, I will have no choice but to discard these devices, effectively losing over £300. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider purchasing from Nixplay, as it seems they are more concerned with profit than with maintaining the satisfaction of their original customer base. Be prepared for more changes and potential fees if you decide to proceed with a purchase.
Attenzione ai costi di gestione
Il prodotto è buono ed esteticamente piacevole, ma il caricamento delle foto si basa su un cloud proprietario: non esiste possibilità di utilizzare schede di memoria o collegarla ad altri cloud. Fino ad ora venivano concessi in uso gratuito 5 gb, sufficienti per una discreta quantità di foto, ma era comunque possibile acquistare uno spazio maggiore. A partire da aprile 2025 sarà necessario sottoscrivere un piano (versione Lite) al costo di circa 25€/anno o più per la versione Unlimited. Chi già possedeva il dispositivo si trova a dover pagare un canone annuo, a meno di accontentarsi di caricare solo qualche decina di foto. Chi invece decide di acquistare sappia che oltre al costo di acquisto dovrà sostenere un costo di gestione annuale.

I needed to replace the power adapter of my Display X08E (it was damaged by a crushed 😞). I could not find it in any store neither in internet, so I required assistance to the producer (NIXPLAY).

In Italia la cornice viene venduta come compatibile con Alexa ma poi la skill si trova solo nello store .com! Quando sarà disponibile la skill aumenterò le stelline!
