The OkCupid app has quite a few bugs in it. The main one being click here to Contact Us and it doesn’t work.

1- all contact info for company are dead links 2- I set a radius for matches, yet I live in the US and at least 50% of my matches are from other countries. Waste of time and fees 3-constant glitches Consider a different service.

So I thought I deleted my account but apparently did not. Which is fine because I wanted to use it again. However I forgot my password, which wouldn’t be a problem except everytime I click reset it just takes me back to the log in page and says my password is incorrect. I also tried contacting them but none of the links work to send an email. If they could fix some of these bugs I would definitely enjoy using the app again. :/

Paid version is rip off. Okay I’ll bite and see who my 50 likes are… all but one were likes from different CONTINENTS and many of them looked like fake profiles/catfishing. Don’t waste your money.

They push you to pay for access to see your likes and fill them up with matches halfway around the world to inflate interest. No way to disable likes from these scammers

So the comment part still isn’t fixed. If going to comment on something on a person’s profile, the compatibility part (Agree/Disagree) comes up instead and it makes it so the person is unable to comment. This has been an issue for a while. Please fix this. Thank you.

First they made it so intr messages were hidden unless you both matched. Even then, you’d never find that intro. Now, every time you go to send an intro message, the comparison window opens instead. You might get the option to send a message around 6-8 attempts later. Yes, app is fully updated OKC, you can do better

Im a 38 year old guy and it’s suggesting 24 year old girls to me even though my age range is set above that. Update: I’ve seen suggestions as low as 18. My age limit is set to 30 as a minimum. Nothing above my age max though, which makes it even creepier.

I’ve been on this app on and off since 2013. The level of detail you can put in your profile is the entire reason to use this app. I’m not aware of anything else similar out there. Tinder, Bumble and Hinge are garbage for profiles, it’s pretty much just swiping 100% on looks. For people who want actual compatibility OKC is by far the best. Downsides: lots of broken stuff. Intros don’t work. I don’t see most if them until i swipe by someone’s profile. They don’t go into the “Intro” tab. Not a huge deal, just write someone a message. The “Intro” function doesn’t make sense anyway. It’s just a message with a different name. But i’d like to see when someone else sends me an intro. The “Match %” filter doesn’t give you the people with highest match percent, it’s pretty much identical to what you see in the “Discover” tab. You used to be able to filter on specific questions (when you paid). That was an amazing feature that’s been lost. Even though i’ve answered hundreds of questions I could probably pick 10 questions that would be enough for me to decide whether to go on a date with someone. Now it’s just a lot of scrolling to find how people answered them. Many questions are poorly written with answers that are often too specific or too ambiguous. It wouldn’t take much effort to iron this out but most of the questions have been on there since at least 2013 so that’s obviously not happening. The questions are an excellent feature but implementation is so-so. THE BIG ONE: allowing third world profiles to access your account when you have your preferences set for local. This is how they goad people into signing up for premium. You see “99+ likes” and sign up to find out that 95 out of 100 are women in the Phillipines or Kenya. Clearly the app isn’t financially viable without this because no one would sign up to see 4 likes (this is only relevant for men). But…WHY CAN’T I BLOCK THEM AFTER I PAY?! I am a premium member and i still have to see these useless like on my account every day. Overall, it’s still the app i prefer even though the user base has significantly dwindled over the last 10 years. I use Hinge occasionally and it’s clear the user base is much higher for that app. It’s unfortunate that OKC hasn’t done anything to keep up but that ship has sailed now. It is what it is until someone else comes out with another app with similar/better features and completely kills off OKC.
