Missing Apple Pencil support

Great content but unfortunately the Apple Pen can’t be used to easier highlight and annotate it. Will give 5 stars once this is improved.

Great content

Great content and very useful. The subscription is really quite expensive though.

Logs in, accesses content quickly, but has bugs.

You're curious as to what stripped two stars from this rating, I'm sure. In a nutshell: - The UX is sub-optimal in navigating between sections such as search and my playlist contents (for how I use it, at least). - It doesn't seem possible to easily navigate to the "title details" page given a search result for a "book section". - It will often show an ambiguous error when I tap on a book section search result without any information as to why or way to resolve it. All in all, you'll likely be able to read your valuable books without issue, but it certainly lacks polish and finesse. Do you have an alternative? If you're reading this, then you're likely already subscribed, in which case you likely don't.

No background play

Great app but no simple background play option when minimising the app, pauses and then needs to be resumed. Quite frustrating when trying to note or multitask.

Trial period ended straight after I created my account?!?

I just created an O’Reilly account and immediately my trial period literally ended straight after I created the account?!? I can’t access a thing. If this how O’Reilly app operates then I wanted to cancel my account. Poor form

Doesn't track correctly and search bug

The playlist has stopped showing progress on the books I am reading. Also, the search is buggy, I searched something long back. now every time i open the app it starts from that search!

Can’t Lived Without

As a web developer, this app with its book library is an absolutely indispensable resource. O’Reilly’s collection of reference material is outstanding and inexhaustible. It has has over the years had a very positive impact on my career as a coder, engineering manager and CTO.
