Works better on iOS 12.5.7 (iPhone 6) than OsmAnd does on newer Androids (Organic works great on those too)

There’s no offline map app better than this. Open source, free, no tracking rubbish, fast, community powered and developed. I love everyone who is involved in building this. The app “maps.me” basically took this and made money from giving you stuff you don’t need. Open source internet forever! Spread the love

The capital of Australia is not in New South Wales! Having to download the Sydney map for the capital, which is 320kms away, shows how inaccurate this app is. Download something better!

The best offline map provider I have encountered which uses the OSM data in a free and accessible way. The app is perfect for hiking trails as well as country roads less travelled. It usually has way more updated streets information than Google Maps.

What all apps should aspire to.

It is by far the best offline map for hiking as trails are marked spot on. Turn by turn navigation for driving a car works pretty good too. This is definitely the number 1 offline map app. Simple, good battery use and works seamlessly in airplane mode.

I’ve been using maps.me for many years now, and was recommending it to everyone I knew. But recently, it’s become bloatware and increasingly annoying. And then I saw a recommendation in a maps.me review, and here I am. So happy to have pretty much exactly what I knew and loved for all these years, minus the bloat. Keep up the good work. 👍

This is the best offline street map available. I’ve tried them all, travelled them world & it’s second to none. Congrats to the developers & wider team. I tell everyone about it.
