POPGuide is an interactive destination, mapping and audio app that allows self-guided sightseeing experiences in over 150 cities worldwide. You can enjoy hundreds of points of interest and an array of fascinating itineraries in each city, all in offline mode.
· Geolocalization and navigation offline along the best walking, bus, tram and river routes.
· Distance and estimated travel time available, by foot or by car.
· Point of Interest audio commentary given by native actors portraying famous local historical figures.
· The audio commentary is a mix of fascinating storytelling, nit-bits of trivia you're unlikely to find anywhere else and historical information, and each piece lasts a maximum of 3 minutes.
· POPGuide is available in 6 languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Chinese)

The continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
While enjoying POPGuide outdoors, it will first track your current location then navigate you to the POIs of your choice. To avoid unnecessary GPS tracking draining your battery, make sure that you disable the location function of your device whenever appropriate.

Can’t open
Trying to sign in. Won’t let me open. No directions. Authentication error? Check credentials? What does that mean?
Great app, but…
I loved this app when it was provided as an add-on to a BigBus tour. When I got to my next cities on my trip I was excited about using the app, but I couldn’t download audio maps for those cities because it appears that they only sell their maps through tour companies, not direct to tourists. Boo!
Doesn’t trigger the talking
No matter how you configure it you have to use “navigate me” to make it talk. It does not automatically start talking when you near a point like it is supposed to. Tried every version of settings configuration.

Hard to imagine anything more useless. Doesn’t deserve the 1 star it got.

Impossible download
, before the guide ever download it.
Bla bla bla guide
Bought Doge Palace guide. Too many irrelevant texts, the floor plan not matching the reality. Avoid this.

So easy and useful. All info in same place.
Amazing App
I love this app. When I’m vacationing with my wife around Europe. It makes it simple and easy to use whenever we are at some amazing landmarks.
