They must have oversold tickets because the day before we were scheduled to tour the Sistine Chapel I received a message informing me that I had to cancel- and if I didn’t within the 24 hour window before my time slot specified on my already paid for ticket, I wouldn’t be able to receive a refund. Be wary of purchasing through their service. Cheaper and more reliable sources exist. I should’ve done my research and used one of those.
Best app for tours and activities. You can save some money
I was verbally attacked by a guide for writing a bad review of an experience (I always give good reviews when I have good experiences) and instead of giving the matter the attention it deserved the support staff was inattentive to my situation and did not resolve the issue.
These people WILL SCREW YOU! My gamily of 5 programmed a provate boat tour TWICE. The first one was € 700 and second €480. First was bad, second they cancelled 12 hours before. We are taking a day trip to capri just for that boat and they screw us like this? DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING HERE! EVEN THEY GHOST TOURS ARE BAD. Unprofessional 1000% It is 1:30 am AND THE KEEP ME AWAKE WRITING! Terrible! Do not book anything with them
We had a multi generational family of 8 people, including grandkids aged 9 & 11. We were all tired from traveling so we were probably less engaged than a typical tour group. Our guide (who never introduced himself to us) had his tour script. The tour was too detailed for our group in the tired condition we were all in. It took a couple of side-bar conversations with the tour guide to get him to modify & shorten the tour. After this was accomplished, the tour provided us with what “we” needed. The Tour guide has lots of potential. Just suggest that he introduce himself to the group, get to know and assess the group and make adjustments to his tour as needed. We decided upon a private tour so we would have some of this flexibility.
Makes it so simple to purchase and have details of tour on one app.
We travel a lot. And I have always found great excursions on here. So far it’s been close to perfect every time.
Booked excursions do not appear in app. Tech help cannot explain or correct. Very unsettling for upcoming trip when there is no confirmation for a booking or even any way to prove it exists other than hard copy of email message.
Don’t trust any booking. Half my guides canceled at last minute; zero support from GYG. Then you have to fight GYG for a refund. Ruined my Europe trip that I had planned for months. All the actual guides hate them as they take a huge cut of the fees.
Needs a method to communicate with operator via app
