I was waiting for Dreams. Counting days till the release. And when it finally came out, it was such a letdown. Sorry, but this isn't a finished product. It's 11 updates in, and it still feels like an alpha version. It misses so many most basic functions and tools, it's genuinely embarrassing. I hope the devs improve it asap, otherwise, just no…
1) I was really disappointed at first that you cant make custom brushes like in procreate since i cant adapt to other brushes its better then any other app like flipaclip since it has more options then ever but still dint expect that. And 2) its kinda confusing at first i wish it could be simpler but thats just my own opinion ( 3) shat surprised me is that you can put procreate on the side and import the work and it imports the layers thats usefull.)

Timelines good! Amazing! Vast improvement from the original procreate. BUT it's hard to use undo and redo without visible buttons. Lack of option to upload custom brushes is very annoying, since I only use the base ones. I hope it'll get solved.
Hi. I think it’s a great app with big potential, but a lasso tool is an emergency need! I thought it wouldn’t be such a problem but after few animations, I would really appreciate some update even just with the lasso. Thank you. Otherwise I think it’s really awesome, tho also alpha lock on frames would be great and the ability to add even more groups than is allowed right now.
The software is good but I it’s really hard to use. I was trying to delete something but it deleted more things than I wanted, so I tried to return it to the original state and it didn’t work. So I have way less progress than I used to have. If it’s on some site than you should have informed the users. If it isn’t than please fix it. And please bring back the undo button from Procreate.
The app looks promising, I believe that in time it will be the best animation software for iPad. So far it contains errors and is not complete. For example, for the functionality of the app it is necessary to disable the hover function of Apple Pencil, because otherwise the app crashes every time you go to the beginning of the timeline.
When I opened the app I was so exited to use it for the first time, exactly as in procreate. The animating proces is so fun and easy, but there is a few problems too. When i tried to delete a dream, it didn’t work, or when i was trying to undo something, it just cleared the whole layer. When i don’t count the glitches, I’m still a little bit confused, that there isn’t the laso tool! I use this tool a lot so it would be great if you can add that. 🙂
I can't merge layers and use transparency on layers , still missing basic stuff. Problems are when the app crashes, when drawing on a layer goes off frame, and it fails to import image frames that are numbered -> the frames don't import properly. I hope they add an export type for video with transparent backgroundu and lasso tool
I was searching for something more animator friendly. I toyed around with it for half an hour and still don't know how to do basic stuff like inserting new frames or inabel onion skin. (And i don’t want to search tutorials on the internet for every basic function) Althought I used animating programs before. Not to metion zooming out destroys the image in the preview. Basic functions don't work as they should. I was really hoping for something new and intuiteve. Instad i got berly working app. Wouldn't recomand for animators even programs that are not hidden behind a paywall are more intuiteve and function as one would expect. I was expecting better user experience. Even thought it might not be the full version at this point why reliese it?
