## Procreate Dreams Reviews in United States

### ****- "Discovery"
I am a creator. A broke one at that. I’m in college, I’m 17, and my job doesn’t pay nearly enough to cover the cost of a software such as toonboom harmony. Before Dreams came out I was using FlipAClip to animate but was getting tired of the simplistic interface as my skills improved and I wanted to work on bigger projects. A year later and here I am and Procreate Dreams is an imperfect app in a lot of ways at the moment. However I am hopeful for the future of this app and hope that a lot can improve so I don’t have to limit my creativity to what the app can provide me. I’ve already started an animation studio and it’s only me at the moment however I would like this to be the software I use in house and i just hope that these updates come real soon so I can put the pedal to the metal.

### **--- "Where is it??"
This is probably just user error but, I cannot for the life of me find most of the tools they advertised while within the app. Did they get rid of them but keep the in-app showcase?? Everything seems really barren and the UI doesn’t seem very well thought out. I adore Procreate and I thought there would be at least a few of the same tools.
-- digilygaf, 2025-01-04

### ****- "Good stuff… but there’s a weird glitch"
Could you fix the glitch where it saturates the most recent color you use over time? It’s hard to describe, but when I flip back and forth between a couple colors, they begin to saturate themselves. Other than that, it’s a good app and an upgrade for sure from apps I’ve previously used
-- Kjnfdaskjnasdvkjnvadd, 2025-01-04

### **--- "Procreate nightmares"
I have been using procreate for a while yet this was hard for me.
-- Vgbguibiuhbhiuvcy, 2025-01-04

### ***** "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!!"
Really don’t know what all the fuss is about.

Took an animation course in Art school years ago pre-digital, learned a lot but an extremely expensive course. It took half a semester to do a three minute short. Thanks to DREAMS, the olde project was revisited, revamped and was done in a matter of days!!

Took a few courses on Skillshare and from former Disney animator Aaron Blaise to learn the mechanics, ins and outs of the program learning a lot. Took a few attempts understanding the Playhead 🎬 Keyframes.

Of course this app’s maiden voyage will have a few glitches the first go round, but consider how streamlined an animator’s life/work will be using DREAMS . Have patience and let the Procreate Team continue to rework and tweak a few things.
THE LASSO, AUTO SHAPE, ALPHA LOCK TOOL[S] WILL COME SOON ENOUGH!!

The real litmus test was when I tried the app with my after school Art Club and they LOVED THE FLIPBOOK.
-- ArtNinja2000, 2025-01-04

### ***** "Great"
Lets you animate really well, different screen sizes and fps, and just works really well.
-- Giant P (diddy), 2025-01-04

### ***** "Suggestions 😀"
Hey, Great app! Just a few things I would like to suggest. One is a Chromatic Aberration Effect in the Filter Section. Next is bone rigging, Which I personally think would be legendary with the already excellent live performance and/ or keyframe tools. Then again, Procreate Dreams is an awesome app to use, And it quite obviously has every level of animator in mind. 😄
-- MikeF211, 2025-01-03

### *---- "Too hard to use"
You only see the onions frames while drawing and I f you pre drew on procreate and try to transfer it to dreams, is hard to move this layers around to a position you want, because there is no onion skin for that. And also in procreate when you draw a line, is easy to strengthen it by holding it still, but in dreams lines is a mess. Overall I think the have all the needed features, but they don't add it, they took these features so the can be adding them little by little in every update, because there is no. PROCREATE NIGHTMARE
-- Stanley Ajaero, 2025-01-03

### ****- "Great for first-time animators, but some problems"
I had procreate a few years prior to getting this app right as it came out. I’ve always loved how clean and simple procreate is, with its built-in shapes, editing tools, easy and quick coloring, etc. I got this app thinking it would have most of, if not, the same exact features (I was mistaken). This app doesn’t allow saving brush sizes or the movement/editing tools that procreate does, and it’s difficult to import any audio, which frustrates me. It was also very confusing at first, until I watched some tutorials. All in all, it’s a great app and fun to use once you get the hang of it, but it definitely needs some work.
-- Kattalian, 2025-01-02

### *---- "This is a horrible product and a waste of money"
This app is more expensive than regular procreate yet has only a 20th of the features. The animation I do requires perfect circles and in procreate I can do this very easily, however in procreate dreams, it is nearly impossible. I recommend you, do not buy this app, it is the worst purchase I have ever made and I am very disappointed in the procreate team considering how good regular procreate is.
