Procreate Dreams

I know there are some things missing like Lasso tool and to fix color drop, but still, I love this piece of software. I just had to got used to it.

It’s infuriating how many times this happens! When you try to undo the action that happened some time ago, the app can start skipping so many steps at the same time, that you end up almost with no progress saved at all! Plus, now the export doesn’t even work properly, it stops mid-export and crashes! Writing this review after another crash, which made me lose a lot of work. Not to mention the fact that the lasso tool still hasn’t been added, even though it has been around half a year since the release and we were told that it will be added in early updates! I think my previous review asking about it hasn’t even been posted. I’m honestly so upset!

Nagyon vártam ezt az appot, és alapvetően jó ötlet, de nagyon hamar ki lett adva. Rengeteg hibája van, ami miatt folyamatosan lábon kihordok egy agyvérzést, ha vele dolgozom. - Alul a ‘csúszka’ rész folyamatosan kilométernyire csúszik szét, állandóan össze kell húzogatni, hogy normálisan egyben lássak mindent. - A rajzolás benne katasztrófa. Új ecsetet hozzáadni nem tudok (vagy legalábbis nem találtam semmi lehetőséget), és képtelenség normálisan egyenes vonalat húzni. Valahogy kevésbé stabil, mint a sima procreate-ben. - Az elemek csoportosítása alul katasztrófa. Nem úgy áll össze, nem úgy működik, ahogy kellene, össze vissza van az egész, szenvedős. - Nem lehet mozgatni/animálni egy képet, ha több rétegből áll, de réteget összevonni egy képen belül nem lehet. - A törlés rosszul működik. Sokszor nem egy változtatást lehet visszavonni, hanem egy egész elem rajzolását teljesen visszavonja, így lehet elölről kezdeni… - Szóval igazából jobban járok, ha teljesen megrajzolom elemenként a Procreate-ben a rajzot, és a dream-ben csak a mozgást csinálom meg. De egyebként az animációkészítés is kényelmesebb a sima Procreate-ben.

Dreams is a true gamechanger for me, due to its ease of use and powerhouse functions. It is like having a TVPaint "light" on my iPad. Compared to Callipeg or Rough Animator, the UI and the whole concept is way easier to use and in some regards way more complex in what it can do. I also have a higher flow experience while animating. Keep it up guys. Waiting for that lasso tool and some other updates…

I was so excited to use Dreams and I just don’t understand why there is no selection or lasso tool in the software. It is taking such a long time this way to work with it that I rather use a different app.

So basically when I open the app for the second time its started to show my animated image as a ? It was an image from the procreate app* After tapping on the image its started to close the app, also when i duplicated it for the next time its showed the image again and after tap still closing the app

I have performance issues especially when using brushes. Playback works fine but still have some issues with it. Audio sometimes stay mute. A lot of basic tools are missing. I have faith in the developers, so hopefully they are listen to the feedbacks and with the patches it will just getting better. I will definitely update my review then for a 5star. But for now, it feel like a bit of an unfinished product. The price is pretty positive, and the overall functions works fine so far.

No select tool, and you can’t transform sections of your drawing. Btw…lot of crash!…i was so excited about this :(

I miss the double tap on my pencil eraser-pencil change, and the quick menu. Otherwise its good and easy to easy to learn it.

You cannot move a drawing around like you do in procreate. This is a big deal because you call it PROCREATE Dreams. So one would expect functions and tools from procreate in this app too. You cannot duplicate frames, which is super annoying. You cannot edit brushes, which is annoying, since some of the brushes have weird pressure sensitivity settings, and I have to push my pencil so hard, my ipad is screaming. Even if we can change sensitivity settings, it is so well hidden… (I tried to go back to the gallery of proc. dreams and it took my half an hour to find that button…)
