Reuters News Reviews

Videos don’t work

Xanthrick J. on

United States

None of the videos play in the app, but I can play videos on the website using Safari. Which makes this app useless.

Obsolete

Tollenfel on

United States

Charging users to read stories destroyed Reuters reputation with me. You guys were the only ones to counterbalance AP but AP doesn’t charge a fee. You just became obsolete to me. Look how low you are in ranked in news apps. This is why! I can understand charging for a newspaper, but not for Reuters. Reuters should have left that alone. Now nobody is gonna read you guys and the world story dies with your failed news app. Nobody is gonna pay a subscription for World News. It kills your trustworthiness because news reports for money is a scam. You get money from advertising. You don’t need my $4. Uninstalled. So much for informing the world.

Nope you get enough with advertising

Tired of media skewed like this. Apple TV app has not been replaced. 🤦🏼

Paywall = bye bye

BSB-Tuba on

United States

Reuters has arrogantly implemented a paywall that instantly lost my interest in their news. That they appear to believe there are no other sources for legitimately unbiased news is delusional. I’m happy to take my eyes & ad revenue to AP. Reuters just relegated themselves to the has-been pile of no-longer-relevant news outlets. Uninstalling now.

Fantastic app

Newsfan25 on

United States

This is one of the best news apps out there. Easy to read. Not too many ads. Affordable subscription. Honest, factual reporting from around the world.

Not free!

So lame, the new update makes you purchase a subscription to view the news.

Bias & Misleading New Source

Npatterson27 on

United States

Cant believe I was reading news as funded by the US government to create false narratives to advance a one sided liberal agenda. You’ve lost my trust and my subscription. Good day!

Now I have to pay.

Diego puerto rico on

United States

Used to read and recommend Reuters to everyone because it was the only Free and Non-biased news source. Now you have to pay $4/month and most news is biased to the centre left. Disappointing.

Pay wall

RainS345G on

United States

The bot response will say they are using the money to help with more information for readers. I say it’s greedy and wont pay a subscription no matter what their reasons to try to justify their greed.
