Reuters News Reviews

Broke the app

M. Sh. on

Switzerland

Hello, can’t find app support, link is dead. Well, the new app looks really good, but the my news feed is broken. Scrolling down then suggested topics then click a news item, going back and the feeds jumps back up.

Get the video news stream back

bluebear10001 on

Switzerland

You completely destroyed user experience by removing the news Video function where users were able to select the preferred duration of the video news. Showing an add after each episode may drive your revenues, but it will antagonize a large part of your users.

Overall good

Unsp3@k@bl3 on

Switzerland

The only problem I have is that there is no “My View” page like on the website.

Suddenly requires registration / paywalled

nealoiseau on

Switzerland

What the newest release euphemistically calls „user registration enhancement” means suddenly paywalled user registration is mandatory. Intransparent and disappointing!

Disaster UX

MarvinFeather on

Switzerland

If you are interested in a topic, you can just close the app and search the web. The start page is a chaotic mess and the search can’t sort matches by date. Good luck finding recent news.

America only

Irina_92 on

Switzerland

I only get push news about stuff from the US and most the time it’s really stuff that nobody cares about. There is a huge huge rest of the world not only the US! It’s really annoying you can chose what categories you want in your feed but the pushes are aboutUS stuff only 👎

German Version ?

Version für deutschsprachige Länder nicht vorhanden ? Sehe nur UK, USA etc

Ruined

DragonShike on

Switzerland

Added huge pictures and ruined the app. I just want text.

Select / Lookup

Oom Poindexter on

United States

When reading on other Apps, I am able to select a word in the text and then tap “Lookup “ in order to see a definition of the word or to find more information. The “Lookup” is not possible in the Reuters App… This feature would be a great addition to your app. Another issue is the inability to select and enlarge an image. Many times the details of an article associated tables are too small to read, unfortunately I am unable to enlarge them, they are unreadable and thus useless.

Bugs?

hp81 on

United States

Thought it was a bug but they seemed to have taken away their widget. They were IMO one of the best news apps from design and relevancy. Was great to see everything going on and then right into the article. Have to fall back to Apple News I guess. :/
