Route: Package Tracker

I like the UI, it looks clean and works most of the time. Have had some odd delivery partners that other apps also struggled with. Map… sometimes works. But again, that’s down to the delivery partner and what kind of data they supply. It’s a mixed bag for me. What ended up stopping me from using this app is how annoying their notifications were. I want to get a quick, glanceable update of my package and what it’s doing, not a “click me to find out more.” That’s an extra step I just don’t want to bother with and forcing me to interact with the app further just got irritating.

Email link just links to the app store - and one you've been grifted through their account set up process, you'd assume the track my order link would..... Oh.. You know... Track my order. But no.. Just keeps linking to the app store. And of course.. Their email doesn't provide any actual tracking number... So now I have this stain of an app on my device. And it is incapable of doing anything

The only website this app works as intended for seems to be Amazon. Anything else? Expect every order to show up as multiple different parcels arriving every time you get a new email update, each of them coming with their own notifications, meaning you WILL need to micromanage your list to even discern what is a parcel and what’s just misinterpreted emails. The online store I ordered from that promoted this as a service wasn’t even integrated within the app’s painfully simple system, never received any updates to the parcel from 2 days after it shipped, despite receiving painfully too many during those two days. It eventually arrived 45 days later (despite the max 15-day postal period I was quoted). Anything else I order online? Well, with each email you receive with an update to the shipping of a parcel, it will trigger a new delivery, only very rarely will it recognise an update appropriately, and in situations where you would receive emails from the postal service and updates from the seller simultaneously, it will result in as many as 8 notifications for a single delivery update. This really just feels like a quick cash grab, don’t expect it to last.

Make me easier to track my parcel

Was forced to download this app when I bought something once, but its really helpful and totally recommend for people who shop online, work smart.

Quite good to track orders only it doesn’t show progress easily
