Don’t pay for their service or use their app. It’s just a typical insurance scam. They take your money but they don’t pay out when you have a legitimate damage issue. Although they market it as “damage insurance,” unless your item is completely destroyed they won’t cover you. My expensive bike frame came with punctures in the box. The frame was chipped and scratched badly in many locations, but they refused coverage because their expert claimed it was still rideable. Seriously, don’t pay for their scam or support them by getting their app.
Network error 400 happened. What should I do?
I ordered a package from a company that does their tracking through Route. In order to get any information about the order I need to install this app. The app requires access to my email account in order to track the package. This is absolutely backwards and an obvious attempt to filter my inbox for all package tracking and put it an app. I absolutely will never share that level of access with a random company, especially when it’s not necessary for the product. Just give me a tracking number.
I downloaded this app, read how much of my info would be shared with this app & decided to delete. Maybe I'm just paranoid but to much info seems to be getting out on net & easier for hackers to get a hold of...
On Christmas Eve, I received nine notifications on Route of purchases made on bestbuy.com which already had UPS tracking numbers, but I made no such purchases. I confirmed with Best Buy that no purchases were made. I tried to contact Route, but they have no customer service at all. I sent a message to their “support” which was never responded to. I was understandably concerned about possible fraud on my account, but Route showed no interest.
I ordered something online recently and the vendor sent an email, saying they’re partnered with Route for package tracking. I downloaded Route and it gives you the option to load all of your incoming package tracking numbers. For a week now, it has shown that my UPS package will be delivered on so and so day and when it doesn’t come, it goes to the next day as the delivery date. When I check the actual UPS site for tracking and the package that according to Route was gonna deliver every single day for a week now has never left Tennessee yet. Another package I have on the way will be delivered in 3 days and Route still has it in at JFK airport. Don’t waste your time.
