Salesforce Authenticator에서 온라인 계정에 강력한 대역 외 인증 공급자로 추가적인 보호 조치를 취합니다. 앱에서 사용자에게 푸시 알림을 보내면 로그인과 중요 작업을 본인이 수행하고 있는 경우 '승인'을, 아닐 경우 '거절'을 누릅니다. 또한 Salesforce Authenticator는 편의를 위해 위치 서비스를 사용하여 사무실이나 집 등 신뢰하는 위치에서 자동으로 확인합니다. Einstein에서 사용자를 대신하여 신뢰할 수 있는 위치를 저장하면 기존 범위에서 벗어난 일이 발생할 경우 알림에 대응하기만 하면 됩니다.

확인 코드가 필요한 경우 확인 코드를 가져올 수도 있습니다. 이 코드는 비행기에 탑승하거나 연결이 약할 경우 백업 승인 방법으로도 사용되며, 따라서 Salesforce Authenticator는 OATH TOTP 토큰을 사용하는 타사 서비스에서도 작동합니다.
