Incredible bad customer service
Impossible to cancel a subscription due to a cyber attack. How is this the problem of a customer?
Description
Santander Cycles is the self-service, bike-sharing scheme for short journeys in inner London.
The official Santander Cycles app from Transport for London is the only app to send bike release codes straight to your smartphone. So you can skip past the docking station terminal and get on your bike quicker.
Simply register with your bank card, and use the app to ‘Hire now’ from a nearby docking station. Follow the instructions to get your bike release code. Tap the code into the docking point and you’re good to go!
You can also:
• See up-to-the-minute information about which docking stations have bikes and spaces available
• Plan a journey with an easy to follow map
• Receive notifications – for example, summarising the cost at the end of your hire
• View your recent journeys and charges
• Save your favourite docking stations
• Become a London Rider - complete challenges and hire cycles to earn entries into a weekly prize draw!
Each bike release code is valid for 10 minutes at your chosen docking station.
Please note the app doesn’t reserve bikes. If there are no bikes available at the docking station, don’t worry. Use the app to find a nearby docking station with bikes, and get another bike release code to use there. You won’t be charged until you use the release code.

Terrible
You hava such a fantastic bike infrastructure, how can this app be so bad? It does not show the amount of time the bike is rented out. It crashes frequently or hangs in loop with error messages. It doesn’t allow to plan a route to a random point, you need to know the name of your destination station snd can’t even point to it on a map. Where is the „station is full“ button hidden? The integration with google maps doesn’t work.
Not great for tourists
Couldn’t get the app to use my credit card, although the browser website said it was accepted. I was forced to use the terminals instead. App is very sluggish. Navigation with routing options for fast or more quiet paths is a nice idea, but how on earth would you use it if the bicycles don’t even have a smartphone mount?
Is anybody developing the app actually using it??
Kudos for making an app as unusable as possible. Logging in is awful and providing payment details is not working at all (appears to have an issue with SecureCode). Basically unusable

Sehr schlechte App Ständig Abbrüche Erkennt Visa Karte erst beim dritten Versuch Nur ein Bike gleichzeitig möglich. An der Säule sind mehrere möglich.
Map bug pls fix
Can you please bring back the map view feature? It was really useful and all I can see on my iPhone 7 right now is the Activity page (can't navigate away)
Couldn’t register
Complicated, bad usability. Tried to sign in with 2 different mastercards and it didn’t work in the end. With other bike apps the sign process is much faster and more user friendly.
Can’t create an account with German Visa card

No Visa accepted
Payment with Visa Creditcard not possible.
Neglected
This must be the only app that is not adjusted for the iPhone x screen in 2019.
