The app is a scam. After you create an account and pay for your hire (daily, monthly, etc) the app THEN requires a mobile verification that doesn’t work with a foreign number (i.e. if you’re using data roaming). So the subscription you already paid for is unusable. Do better TFL! If you’re visiting London forget the app and just use your credit card at the bike terminal, save yourself the strife.

Have found this app so hard to use. Consistently exits mid booking of ride leaving me with no way to proceed with a booking.

Does not allow the use of Apple ID sign up, requires an SMS auth code but bills before stating this fact. Impossible to use without a SIM / phone number. Lastly, laggy UX and large app size given the functionality…

After many many attempts to get my Australian Mastercard and Visa accepted, I give up. Still have theee charges pending on my bank account though. Considering it’s run by a bank, it seems pretty shoddy.

Just downloaded this, signed up and started to peruse the map. Opened the menu and nothing happened. It froze, not responding to any interactions. Closed the app and reopened 3 times and same thing. Guess I won’t be using it.

It took me over two hours to set up an account and I needed to use both my app and my laptop for it to finally work. In total I was charged eight times. I did ultimately get to have the bike work but I was (obviously) unable to go where I had wanted to go. This process needs to improve.

Don’t get this app

Yep, I thought if I used a London address I'd be able to hire but I got the"card not accepted" at the end too. Haven't checked my about yet.

On final registration step, app declared that my card had not been authorised. I double checked details and attempted twice more but no successful registration. However on checking my account, I was charged GBP2 on each occasion. So, I’ve been charged six pounds and have been unable to register.

SCAM! Registration always fails with an error, and it charges you £2 each time
