Best app I've found to learn kanji
Each card has three different review options: the meaning, reading, and writing, so can choose what to review depending on what need to practice. The built-in JLPT decks are great.

Renewing my knowledge of kanji is very accessible with Skritter. My motivation has snowballed.
It is excellent in some ways, especially the Apple Pencil recognition. There are some quirks though, in particular the fact that despite having JLPT decks it is not really adequate for studying for the JLPT exam: in the JLPT N5 deck (and any other JLPT deck) despite the words are level appropriate the kanji aren’t: it introduces straight away advanced kanjis, even from N1 level, that normally one wouldn’t be expected if not years later. This makes it very hard to use for exam preparation, or to use it at all unless one is already intermediate/advanced.
A built-in link to a good online Japanese dictionary (like in chinese skritter ) would take it to five stars in my opinion.
Really the best resource for learning kanji, the big letters and stroke repetition really help the memorisation even if you don’t actually want to learn to write
Would use, but only if about half the monthly cost.
It’s a good app for different people to learn and write Japanese. Even if you are a beginner or have a bit of knowledge you can use the app. I didn’t know a thing about Japanese by know I know quite a bit so I can watch my favourite anime’s with knowing a bit of what they are saying and I can speak to my friends who speak fluent Japanese so I know what their saying. Overall, really good 5 stars
I love this app. It’s been very helpful for someone just starting to learn Japanese. 10/10 100% recommend especially since even though I procrastinate and don’t like learning I was able to complete so many sessions , it felt like I was playing a game
This is great! The app is easy to use and layout is presented well. The Japanese sounds have been improve and the writing is more responsive. Could you update the Chinese app in the same way?
