ใช้งานเขียนเพลงได้รวดเร็ว สะดวก คิดแล้วเขียนได้ทันที ทำงานร่วมกับไฟล์เสียงได้ และตัวเลือกต่าง ๆ ที่ ช่วยในการเขียนที่เข้าใจง่าย ในบางครั้งอาจจะมีอาการหน่วงบ้างเวลาเขียนเพลงที่มีความยาวมาก ๆ ที่สำคัญ ไม่สามารถใช้ pencil แบบเทียบเท่า กับ Apple Pencil มาใช้เขียนได้ *อยากให้มีเครื่องดนตรีที่เป็นเครื่องอื่น ๆ นอกเหนือจากแค่ในวงซิมโฟนี *และอยากให้สามารถเปิดสกอร์แบบแบ่งครึ่งหน้าจอเป็นสองหน้าต่างได้ และสามารถก๊อบปี้โน้ตข้ามไปมาระหว่างหน้าต่าง ได้ จะขอบคุณมาก ๆ การจัดการหน้ากระดาษ ถือว่าใช้ได้ดี นอกจากนั้นก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรที่น่ากังวล เพราะใช้งานได้ดี

All the problems I can think of are listed down below: - Why can’t we add text before tempo numbers? - Why are there no finger numbers? - Why can’t we place arpeggios across lines? (Like across a piano staff) - Why can’t we place arpeggios across voices? If this app gets another update maybe I’ll add more problems to the list

Update your interface. You didnt allow trial before buying now i know. Work with some actual musicians and pay close attention to problem areas.

The handwriting recognition for this app is so bad that it is unusable… I bought the app specifically for that feature and was very disappointed. I spent hours trying to practice to no avail. Borderline false advertising unless I’m doing something wrong.

I have been so happy, busy and excited since coming across this app. It’s been a lot more efficient when coming to compose, transcribe, or even arrange and mix a song. I would love to see an update where there is an option for the jazz font, also the ability to make time signatures bigger for the bigger scores that require the tablet size paper. Oh, and also the ability to change the number of bars at the end of a piece so there isn’t just only 4 bars to add unnecessary bars or paper when printing. But StaffPad regardless is a masterful app for all musicians. Keep up the good work!

For an app that relies solely on detecting your handwriting for note input, it better have darn good handwriting detection. StaffPad simply does not have the handwriting detection it needs. Not only does it force me to notate how it wants me to notate (draw an S for a quarter rest, draw 7 for an eighth rest, etc…), 50% of the time it wont even notice its own drawing recommendations! I have to draw, erase, draw, erase over and over again until it finally recognizes my handwriting! This could all be fixed by adding some way, just any possible way to input notes without having to use an Apple Pencil. The absolute worst offender I have encountered with the app is that it genuinely refuses to recognize any dynamic markings besides forte. Even forte it forces you to draw in a specific way! So if I wan a piano dynamic marking, you are forced to draw a lower case t (tell me how that makes sense), double tap to realize it as a forte marking, then click and drag down on the marking until it turns in into a piano marking… I’ve been trying to make this software work for months, but I can’t take it anymore. At this point I’d rather use pen and paper. For any creative workflow the goal of a piece of software should be to make it as seamless and intuitive a process as possible. StaffPad is the opposite of this. I spend more time fighting the software than I spend writing music. Once the devs at StaffPad fix their handwriting detection, and add a secondary way to notate, then I would happily return to the app. Until then, I’m removing it from my iPad and will not be using it again.
