WRITE NATURALLY

Write your score with the fluidity of natural handwriting. Use touch and Apple Pencil to quickly edit your notation. Transpose, repeat and structure your score with intuitive gestures and tools. Customise the tempo with a unique tempo staff (or import a tempo map from a MIDI file), add chords either manually or automatically with the chord staff. You can even copy music written in StaffPad into other apps, simply using the normal copy and paste functions.

Once you're ready to perform or record your work, tap the ScoreSync button in StaffPad and your score is instantly shared across a Wi-Fi network to any device running the free StaffPad Reader app (available in the App Store). The Readers present each individual musical part beautifully formatted, update in realtime with any changes you make to your score, handle automatic page turns, and play back in perfect time with a synchronised metronome, for capturing the perfect recording every time.

IMPORT AND EXPORT

StaffPad imports and exports MusicXML and MIDI files for easily working with other music apps. You can also export your playback as WAV, AAC or MP3. You can import audio files into your score, with support for most major audio formats.

As well as digital parts via ScoreSync, StaffPad will automatically format and print parts or export PDFs for you. Customise the paper size, bar number styles, number of bars per line, scaling, margins, multi-bar consolidation and more. StaffPad automatically formats the score for consistent presentation.

Génial avec cet update !

A quand la reconnaissance de mon Orgue Hammond pour l’audio comme le pian;;;

Sublime app ! Fantastic app !

Je suis un grand fan de cette app. Elle n’a rien à voir avec les autres applications de notation musicale. Celle ci en plus de faire des partitions sublimes joue les parties avec assez de réalisme pour en faire de petites démos et on peux retravailler les stems dans un daw ensuite. Les sons gratuits de Muse sont très bons mais on peut acquérir aussi d’autres packs de sons issus des géants du sample et ça fait encore une grosse différence. Elle est aussi très simple d’utilisation et hyper intuitive. J’ai essayé et acheté pratiquement toutes les applications de notation musicale au stylet c’est sans conteste celle que je préfère. I am a big fan of this app and I highly recommend it. It’s really intuitive and fast and it produces wonderful results.

De nombreuses nouvelles fonctionnalités mais j’attends avec impatience l’ajout de tabulation pour guitare

Incroyable

Application incroyable, je trouve que l’ipad à travers cette application est un outil si intuitif et ergonomique pour écrire de la musique. Il,y a un temps d’adaptation pour pouvoir écrire de manière complètement intuitive mais on s’y fait assez vite, et surtout les avantages sont dingues. Les sons fournis de base sont d’excellentes factures sans avoir à faire la moindre retouche, les banques de sons additionnels de éditeurs sont à des prix très abordables et très peu lourdes, on as pas besoin de disque dur externe, on est libre de nos mouvements et on peut composer facilement et rapidement partout. Très heureux d’avoir acheté cette application !!! Merci pour votre travail !

A dream come true

StaffPad is such an amazing piece of software for the serious composer! It’s literally revolutionizing the way to compose with computer help, linking two opposites: staff writing and sound production. With StaffPad one is able to hear a very convincing mockup of his score at the very moment he is writing it WITH PEN ON A STAFF. No more numerical pad trick and combinations to enter notes, just the pleasure of writing them. It’s something composers have been waiting since the beginning of computer music. The addition of third party banks add a great deal of realism to the sounds too.

La reconnaissance avec le Pencil est vraiment aléatoire… Très déçu

Bien, mais la reconnaissance graphique patine parfois : obligé de s’y reprendre plusieurs fois pour un silence ou une altération! L’agencement stylo/papier, lui, va aussi vite que la pensée. Seul avantage : entendre immédiatement ce que l’on a écrit. Mais déjà, Finale…

Un seul problème le prix…

Not totally satisfied, should be more efficient

The application is really interesting and i am happy to own it, but it is not a complete ! It’s not easy to write for transposed instruments. For example, i am a sax player and when i choose to write in C, the score (not transposed) shows the sax baryton with a treble clef, and it’s a wrong result ! The baryton sax in UT writing should be in a bass clef. I think with this price they must change the notation to become correct for transposing instruments. That’s the reason i have chosen 3 stars.
