Das ist einfach nur schlecht im Vergleich zu NotateMe
Leider stürzt mit dem Apple Pencil 2. Generation die Software reproduzierbar schon im Tutorial ab der 2. Lektion ab und im Editor beim Berühren der Notenzeile. Die Einstellungen des Pens funktionieren in jedem anderen Programm. Das ärgert mich sehr, denn das Programm NotateMe hat schlechtere Bewertungen, erkennt aber die handschriftlich eingegebenen Noten tausendmal besser! Schade…
Dafür das es nicht funktioniert ist es deutlich zu teuer
Es hatte ein anderer Nutzer auch schon festgestellt, es funktioniert nich mit dem IPAD Pro 12.9 6te Generation. Es hängt sich nach paar Minuten direkt auf und startet mittlerweile auch gar nicht mehr 100 Euro für die Tonne !
Great app, with some imperfections
I’m using StaffPad mainly for transcribing music for small ensembles. Writing with the Apple Pencil 2 feels great and the app recognises almost everything precisely, even with my horrific handwriting. Only dynamics are really challenging to write. Sometimes I have to try 5-6 times in order to write a "PP" or "FF", because StaffPad would wrongly recognise a "sFz" or even tones, instead of what I’m writing. Other than that, I can write while travelling with the train and faster than on PC at home. The other functions are intuitive and the automatic layout and formatting work very well. Regarding the sounds: it needs lots of tweaking the automation in order for StaffPad to generate good audio, using the free samples. That’s a minus for me, as I use audio feedback mainly to detect wring notes and don’t care how beautiful it can sound. Dynamics are all over the place with instruments such as clarinet or flute. In this respect I liked basic synthesised sounds like the ones in the earlier Versions of Sibelius or MuseScore before the introduction of automation and more advanced MIDI parameters. BUT, if one has the patience for it, by tampering the right way you can really generate great previews of you music, so overall a good feature for compositors that still need to find people to play their pieces live and want to send good demos for competitions and stuff. Overall totally worth the 99€ if you’re looking for a reliable composition program on the go.
Viel zu teuer und nutzlos
Eher eine Spielerei. Die Erkennung via Apple Pencil funktioniert sehr schlecht. Ist das Geld nicht wert!

Chords track feature
They actively listen to recommendations. Earlier this year i was asking for chords above instrument staffs to be referenced from the dedidcated chords track. Without any auto chords involved. So that you can manually set changes for jazz and pop arrangements on the chords track but having them printed on every single instrument export. Regularly checked the release notes since then, but did not notice the feature in the list. Tried it again in app recently and it just works now as suggested. Thanks a lot!
Super aber ausbaufähig
Die App ist wirklich super ich vermisse jedoch ein paar Optionen zb eine Vorschau Option. denn nun muss ich immer exportieren um ein ganzes Blatt zu sehen und für Veränderungen wieder Zurücks ins Programm. Ich schreibe sehr viel für Klavier und stimme oder Violine. Es wäre toll wenn es eine Option gäbe die Noten Linien im schreibmodus untereinander zu anzuordnen . So als würde man auf einem Blatt schreiben und das man auch das Layout selbst beeinflussen kann.
schlecht
Auch wenn meine letzte (negative) Rezension hier verschwunden ist (!) jetzt nochmal: Noteneingabe funktioniert viel zu oft schlecht, falsch oder garnicht. Teuer und inApp Kauf nötig um nur eine gewöhnliche Gitarrenstimme zu schreiben. Seitenansicht nicht verfügbar. Es gibt besseres.
Noteneingabe mit pen nicht möglich
Bitte unbedingt bug beheben. Habe die Möglichkeit der noteneingabe mit Stift nach 2 Stunden aufgegeben . Was im Tutorial zwar funktioniert haut später in der App nicht hin. Diese App ist deswegen für mich komplett unbrauchbar.
