WSJ si na institution, not "only" a newspaper! The posibility to read aproved high quolity articles represents a readers loyality garante. Furthermore in comparison with some other editors, for example FT, they WSJ are light years ahead. I highy recomend it! I am an B.Sc. E.E. and M.Sc. Banking, and I know many web and economy related options... Tought, WSJ si for highest recomandation!
I stop smoking ! Thanks
Nice
My main complaint about the app is that it regularly forgets my subscription. And doesn’t remember it when I re enter my credentials. So I’ve stopped using it on my iPhone and usually only read in a browser, tablet or the physical paper. We have a wood stove and so the paper serves a dual purpose. (Edit) we stopped printing service due to poor delivery reliability. Another technical issue is clicking a link in twitter does not open the app, it opens a browser. And as said before, browser doesn’t always log you back in. And actually finding an article using the iPad app search feature is sometimes useless.
Bring back the old design. Wasted white space now with constant scrolling does not make for a nice reading experience. I’m now reading the Journal less as a result. I am very disappointed.
The ads are loaded when you scroll near it, problem is they don’t reserve space for the ads block, so the entire article gets shuffled around and you lose your place instantly. Honestly don’t know how it’s possible to have such low standards for engineering and product.
I used to love this app. I am a WSJ subscriber for years, but I am not sure what happened since quite a few months ago. The apps is buggy and more often than not there are shapes like rectangles and squares that superimpose on the screen rendering unreadable. I tried to find ways to get support and give them the feedback and I hope this review will do it. At this point of time, I am going just to their website on Safari. So, don’t waste your time with this horrible app. Too bad I still need to give 1 star…
The app doesn't allow adjustment of font size. It display articles webpage form, not filling up the iPad screen. The app used to be good without the mentioned problems. The overhaul a couple years ago made it bad. I don't understand why WSJ destroyed a good app and replace it by a bad app.
App crashes every time I click on it. Tried deleting and re-installing and no luck.
