Frustrating UI difficult to navigate app won’t load routines after 3 days of use, don’t subscribe after 3 days the app just stops working. Not good devs should be ashamed.
I really like this app, and I can see and feel the progress I am making. I also really like the community aspect, which helps to motivate me.
Interface seems unorganised and the videos I tried to watch on the app were “unavailable”.
Possibly the best calisthenics app out there. Workouts are categorised by difficulty and goal (burn fat, build strength etc) which can prevent plateaus. The design is slick, intuitive and feels comprehensive. I particularly like how each day will give you a different workout. Very good for busy people. The workouts themselves are good. After being on adidas training for 2 years I felt like I ‘beat’ the app, and so coming to this app I feel like there’s more progression happening. Few issues though - you will need equipment for almost all of the workouts. For most people this is fine but if you travel a lot like me, you might struggle to find a dip bar 😂 I would love to see an option to set no equipment per workout or in the settings. You can make it work if you have the experience and some creativity but the option should be there. Another problem I’ve noticed some other people mention is the programs will increase difficulty too quickly. If you’re at a moderate to advanced level, the programs should be challenging but achievable, but the difficulty curve is steeper for beginners which could be intimidating. You might have to repeat workouts to make progress which isn’t a great experience. That being said, the app gives you plenty of workouts to choose from and if you stick with it then you will feel rewarded. Like I said, this is probably the best one out there for calisthenics and worth a try.
You start a program, you do a couple of days, it’s all mostly great. But then you can’t continue unless you subscribe. So yeah, “free” app made unusable unless you subscribe (unless I’m missing something)
Used this app a few years ago but I’m a fussy sod and very hard to please lol The slightest little thing can put me off and I like apps that work seamlessly. Returned after 3 years The app / Chris were awesome before tbh. I just didn’t like a few fictions like the timer, & sometimes workouts would mess up if I had a call come through which would annoy me. I also wanted to be able to listen to my own tunes. NOW……. I can come in and out of the app, send messages, answer calls etc and the workout is still there regardless🙏 It’s no longer clunky at all & the timers work really well……..you can add or minus 10 seconds rest if required. Music…….. You can now play your own music (YouTube music) while in the app which makes a big difference to me and all the functions work perfectly. The workouts and levels themselves are awesome too. By far the BEST Calisthenics app on the market and to top it off it’s amazing value for money. I’ve tried so many others that are wasaaay more expensive and they don’t even come close. Glad I came back and tried it again because the team have made it perfect (even for a fussy f**** like me lol) Ps I never do reviews but see a few comments that are outdated so wanted to let people know how good it really is Much love & respect
Helped me progress so much
So I use this app a few times a week & just think it’s great. I feel as if I know/ have got to know a handful of people thought just following & commenting/ supporting each other’s progress - at the same time as it not becoming social media. Workouts are great & varied with a few different ways to interact with them - follow along Vid style - timed workouts- week by week programs (I think if you have premium). Only negatives/ nags are if you want to take photos sometimes it kicks you out of recording your workout & every now & then it takes a couple of attempts to load. But I stand by the 5 stars
Good app I have my 6 pack now
