If you don’t have the app installed on your phone, you can’t see that you are subscribed for monthly fee. According to Apples guide lines they have to inform you in different ways and they don’t. I don’t like this way of business, it’s dishonest way of charging. The app wasn’t even installed on my phone so I couldn't even see I’m being charged. They don’t even send invoices to your email. I was refused getting a refund for the full time. Not cool.
Sign up and setup is straightforward and easy. The rest is also very good, so well done
You should be very careful, they charged me money, without notifying me and informing me, just like that they charged all kinds of charges. I try to talk to their support, a bot talks to me and even when I try to explain to return my money, they tell me that they will look into this case, and then they just don't massaging me back. A few days I sending a message and get no response. I am not satisfied at all and you will return to me and return the money you charged me.
As the title states, Tier, has become awful and unusable. Their scooters are the hardest to find among the other apps for renting scooters out there, and also the hardest to park. The app recently changed and parking has become extremely strict, mind you the other apps such as Lime and Wind share none of these issues. I took a ride with Tier and finished within 10 minutes, but then was faced with a “No-Parking zone” even though the map clearly showed I was in a parking clear zone. I then rode for 5 minutes to the closest “Designated parking area” which is shown as a blue icon with a P on the map. I attempted to park there, but to no avail, Tier was refusing to let me park there and insisted it was a “No-Parking zone” and once again refused to let me end the ride. While looking for another designated Parking area the scooter decided to stop and the throttle did not move it. After many attempts of making the scooter work I had to push it to the next “Designated parking area” and I spent 10 minutes trying to show my surroundings to the mapping technology which this awful app makes you use to park. After I was finally able to park and end the ride, I spent a total 40 of minutes on what was supposed to be a 5 minute ride. Tier charged me for every second of the ride even after reporting the incident. This was not my first similar incident with Tier and it’s parking issues, but it was the one that broke the camel’s back. I would not recommend using this app as every other scooter company will give you a much better experience. An example of this is wherever Tier refused to let me park I saw other scooters from Lime, Wind, Dot and Bird happily parked there. The prices they charge are also amongst the highest, and they give the worst service which makes no sense. WHATEVER YOU DO SKIP THIS APP!!

The scooters are ok but there’s no button to unlock the helmet. I had to contact the support each time I wanted to ride, ask them to unlock the helmet, and wait a few minutes for it for it to be executed. I experienced this for more than 6 months, and checked each time that I’m on the most updated app version. Nonsense. Finally I gave up and decided not to use Tier anymore, there are enough other services.
Amazing ride around the city
Back breaking scooters if you can even find one in less than 250 meters walk, can’t just end the ride you have to park in arbitrary parking spots, sometimes not even close to where you went. helmets? Doesn’t exist Customer support? Don’t make me laugh Maintenance? 4 out of 5 ride I took the scooter had one defect or another. Just don’t.
Do not bother using their app, the scooter is terrible and it wont let you end your rides. their customer service is disgusting as well
