I use Tuya for viewing/monitoring and controlling my solar geyser. While the App is easy to install and use, I cannot do all the controller functions remotely that I can do manually. Useful app but not perfect. Geyserwala appears to have greater functionality.
Does anyone know how to connect it to LED lights, it is not working.
When you want to put it on holiday mode, it’ll work once.. next time I look up on unit it’s back on „normal“, it just overrides my command. Installation company claims it’s an app fault. So what’s the deal with holiday mode if it lasts only few hours while I’d like to be on holiday a bit longer?
Running my geyser (off the grid) and the heat pump off the inverter/solar. Able to control both easily even remotely as it uses internet and not the home Wi-Fi only, so can switch on geyser on route from returning from a holiday before get home. I have run multiple timers on specific days depending on my water heating needs. I see I have the ability to also schedule the devices to go on and off based on external factors like the temperature or the humidity levels so this is something I will play around with for winter I guess if temperatures drop below x degrees then might need to have the geyser assist with water heating. Based on comment from qqwwrrty due to loadshedding in ZA I have put multiple “traps” to ensure the signal for on/off reaches the devices when I need as schedules are so inconsistent. I also use the app to know when it’s load shedding as my geyser (grid only) will say offline. Cons: Still find it a bit difficult to know if the device is switched on/off. The power consumption meterage is Useless and so inaccurate. Pointless to use and was hoping it would help show me how much electricity the geyser and heat pump uses.
I have a main tuya switch for my house mains. Sometimes when I open the app and turn another switch on or off it shuts the main house Tuya switch off, which I did not instruct
The app is great but please add support for Siri Shortcuts because it is not HomeKit compatible but Siri Shortcuts would hel maby make creating them easy like the aqara app thanks for all the work you do

Not happy at all that the watch app was removed with this last update now. Was really very convenient as you didn’t need to fiddle to get your phone from your pocket or to go look for your phone as long as it was nearby
I’ve had this light for 2 years it’s perfect and I love the fact that I don’t have to get out of bed to switch off when it’s time for me to sleep love it 🥹
