Rubbish

Rubbish does not work

Radiators

I control all my radiator valves using Tuya and they have been working as expected for a year now. Tuya also opens and closes a couple of Quoya brand curtains every day without problems. I find the zigbee radiator valves eat up their 2 AA batteries too quickly and was forever changing them, tried rechargeable but still a nuisance. I have replaced the batteries with fake ones that are running from a USB socket ( from aliexpress) and never have the problem now, hope this tip helps someone else. Overall a great app and free as well, hope to use some more advanced features in future.

Do not update

Confusing

I honeslly think there are a lot of fake reviews. This app is confusing, cumbersome and unreliable. But we have no choice but to use it to control our heating.

Unresponsive

Using the app to display readings from an air quality detector. Initial load displays current values, the historic graphs work for the first graph selected, but the navigation to other days/months or other graphs generally fails, and only comes back when the app is killed and restarted

Works great if you’re IT literate

All the complaints seem to be from people who just have no clue what they are doing. If you are reasonably IT literate and have decent wifi coverage it works very well. I have dozens of devices, thermostats, radiator valves, heating, lighting, TVs, projectors, cameras, electric gates, etc. All work perfectly well. Odd things are a bit rubbish like some TRVs and cheapo dimmers but that’s not the app, it’s rubbish hardware from a few bad makers.

Poor updates

Used to work well, but updates don’t recognise my original product, too difficult & confusing to get aircon working via app when app was basic it was good to much going on & over complicated..

No Portrait on iPad

The App could be quite good but as it doesn't support Portrait mode on an iPad I hardly use it. It's a complete pain to keep having to rotate the device just to use this App whilst all other Apps auto rotate as needed.

Buggy

Using for some external lighting, can’t seem to set the timers! Can set to turn on but there is no option for “off” needs an update… other than that not a bad app.

Groups disappeared

Since the last update I can no longer group bulbs and control them all at once
