Editing becomes very slow in latest 32.1

Overall great app except the lack of table functions

Great writing experience with so many stylish themes. One major imporvement the developers should make is to add the table functions.

Must have tool if you are serious about writing

A neat way to organize all your writings in one place. The UX is unparalled and by some magic makes me more productive. I believe it's because it blocks out web pages so remove the temption to loiter elsewhere on the web. The statistics/goals also helps keep me motivated. tons of shortcut keys and upload formats streamlines the job of anyone who writes to just one: write. For everything else, there's Ulysses.

No visible customer service

I liked it. Installed a couple of weeks ago. Late night i decided to set a password for the app in my macbook.. Next day couldnt remember it. Im locked out and cant find a way to open the app in FAQ or help. that is relevant to my problem. Here I am with a brand new app, unable to use. ANYBODY THERE???

I really really love writing on Ulysess ever since i first bought it. It's been awesome and i've been writing a lot ever since. Love it! Keep the good work up devs!

Change in payment model

Despite the change to a subsciption model which I must say I really do not like but I think this software is worth the money I pay for it. I use it everyday, it manages my fiction writing, my blog and if I really want to, it can handle being a makeshift journalling app as well. Being able to output into PDF, HTML and markdow makes my life so much easier. The only other direct competitor is Scrivener but Ulysses wins for me.

single payment vs subscription

Upfront: great app. Design reduced to the minimum, yet plenty of functionality under the hood. Very well done. However, I chose Ulysses precisely BECAUSE of your single payment business model, and that was only a couple of months ago, in July. I wanted future certainty. You have removed exactly that. You chose to join the band wagon of subscription based businesses bent on bleeding the customers dry until they have died the death by a thousand cuts. I don't want to die that death. I am and will remain in charge of my wallet and of my own destiny. Good luck in your future endeavours.
