I originally loved Virtuo and recommended it to many of my friends, but after one incorrect booking I was left with no access to customer service. The ai chat doesn’t work and it took nearly two weeks to get a response from customer service. I mistakenly made a booking with the incorrect dates and they charged me even though I did not use the car.
Dear Apple, why do you download apps that are scams? This company has no physical address, no telephone numbers. they wrote off 2 amounts from me: £381 and £419 (the service was not provided) in the end, no one returned £419 to me. Why do you allow your partner to cheat your clients out of their money? why do you allow these applications to demand all our passport data and rights? Why am I, as a consumer, who downloaded an application in the official AppStore not protected from fraud? I have not been able to receive a single receipt or any document from this company for two days now. Why ?????? do you allow your partner to rob us?
I was charged a different price from the one displayed when I selected the car. I was also told I could get a full refund until a certain date - which somehow was incorrect. Support will send you 1 message every 30-40 minutes completely unrelated to your problem and just hope you give up. Avoid.
A few taps on the app and the car gets delivered to your front door when you need it. No longer need to go the rental counter, queue, wait for someone to endlessly type on their keyboard like they’re typing all words in the dictionary… Pick up is easy. Just drop your car on your street and end the rental on the app. Cars are good i’ve rented the vw polo and the tesla model 3 long range for longer holidays trip. Customer service is 5 star. Easy to reach by phone or app, always super nice and helpful.
Why can’t you provide access to official Tesla app?
Tried to set up an account in the US for when we travel to London. The app requires that you verify your account by receiving a text message to your US phone number, which it says that it can do, but it never sends the text.
No hassle at all. Rented a lovely Cupra Formentor, got the car delivered to me on schedule, with a full tank of petrol. Returning was also a smooth experience, I simply followed the instructions on the app and that was it.
It’s impossible to get in touch with customer service. The app thinks I’m under 25 years old, even though they scanned my drivers license. There’s another issue I need to resolve, but there’s no way to talk to anyone whether by phone, email, text, chat. If things go well, it works, any issues is unresolvable. Not sure how you can have this type of service without any customer support. Avoid until they solve this.
The app worked OK ish 6 months ago but it was flawless this time. Virtuo is amazing - incredibly convenient contactless pick up and drop off, reasonable prices, great cars and outstanding customer service. Importantly, no super boring and time consuming going to car rental and filing in paperwork-keep up the great work and thank you!!
If you are familiar with the level of customer service and hosts that Turo offers. DO NOT EXPECT THE SAME FROM VIRTUO. This low level app has an email based customer service that takes a minimum of 10 hours to replay. Me and my wife picked up a car from Hamburg and we had to navigate through 2 different pick up addresses and instructions provided via email and the app. The options to submit pictures on this app are close to nonexistent when picking up and only exterior photos are accepted when dropping off. I was charged for refueling after the trip with no proof that the car was taken to a gas station. I replied to their emails with pictures I took of the odometer showing the gas level. If you need a rental look somewhere else.
