Be sure to know the rules of the road before setting off on an e-scooter or e-bike. Stick to the bike lanes or close to the side curb, and stay off pavements. Never ride under the influence, and always wear a helmet to keep your head safe. Oh, and no twin-riding – one person per e-scooter or e-bike at a time.

FIRST TIME ON AN E-SCOOTER?
If you haven’t used an electric scooter before – activate reduced-speed mode in the app. This caps the max speed of the scooter, allowing you to start off slow while learning to operate the vehicle.

E-SCOOTER AND E-BIKE PARKING – WHAT APPLIES?
Proper parking is a matter of safety and accessibility. Keep yourself informed of your local rules and regulations in regards to e-scooter and e-bike parking – and follow them. Always park the vehicle standing upright, using the kickstand and be sure not to obstruct the path of pedestrians, cyclists or other vehicles.

Used to be so good

Back in the day you could get a month pass for £25 and use it as many times as you would like, now you only have 750 minutes for the whole month which cost £55. What a joke. Not even worth it anymore

40minute wait time in chat to speak with someone

How is it if you have an emergency that you are required to wait 40minutes to have the issue dealt with !? Is this normal ?! To be standing around waiting for someone to deal with an issue! Your app is a joke customer service lie they never answer correctly! Just trying to always send you again to support whom never get back to you to answer your questions

Parking regulations

I only use Voi when I’m late to something either class or work. So the idea of not allowing me to end my ride at the nearest parking spot because it’s full it’s unpractical at all

Totally useless

Ive spent half an hour trying to upload my driving license. It goes red and says no internet connection despite having a perfectly good signal on 2 different Wi-Fi networks and 4g. I give up!

Taking money out of my account for no reason

Voi has been taking money out of my accounts for months, there is no active passes and I have never even taken a ride before! Contacted my bank who said you need to contact them but there is no way to do this. They are getting away with theft. Beware of downloading this as even if you don’t use it they will have access to your bank details and take money

Parking photo monitoring is bad

My parking photos were constantly being flagged as bad despite care being taken every time. I don’t know if they’ve implimented a new monitoring system or something but it’s quickly become completely unusable

App is glitchy

This app has become glitchy AF. Twice I’ve had to just wait the 10 minutes for my ride to time out because the app glitches and wouldn’t end my ride. Made me late for important appointments. The help chat was also not available. I had full internet signal both times.

Awful

Scooters don't work well, distribution of scooters is always patchy, and they've hiked the prices. Prices gone u whilst service has gone down

Takes money from your credit card way too easily

I was just using the app to look at the location of scooters in my area. I accidentally tapped on a button (not sure which) and I suddenly had over £7 charged to my credit card and I was only sat in my bedroom. Unacceptable.

Who has their driving license with them when creating an account

Uploading an image from your photo library should be an option.
