Best budgeting app by far if your meticulous
I wish to add a feature that allows me to lend money to someone and add more than one period for the repayments. In addition, I have a debt and there are payment dates at different intervals with notice.
Canceling app. Reviews around the internet show that Budget Bakers is pretty shady. Banks will sync but it won’t last and then support will respond within 3 days, claim they are working on it, but not fix the issue. Don’t pay for lifetime subscription unless syncing isn’t important for you.

You can’t connect a bank to test the service without making a payment, despite their website saying there is a 14 day free trial. I contacted support they added a 14 day voucher to my account. Cool, but the free trial should be more easily accessible, for example the user should be able to start the trial themselves after signing up without having to contact support. I’ve also reported several issues with the formatting which is inconsistent throughout the app. In some place commas and decimals are used and some not. Some places list the currency and some not. When I put in a ticket for this, support made it sound like I’m crazy and that there is no priority to have consistent currency formatting throughout the app. This app feels like a beta and isn’t polished enough for serious use. Update: it’s been a year now and nothing has been fixed. I lowered my rating and that caught the developers attention. They finally responded to my support ticket and addressed a few of the issues but refuse to fix some of the others like listing amounts as “USD 89.1” instead of “$89.10” to follow proper US formatting. Re: developer response - you can “acknowledge” these issues all you want, but until the issues are resolved, I am not increasing my rating and will not be recommending this app to others.
I love how you can add all of your bank accounts/credit accounts to keep up with everything. However, my capital one credit card will have lots of days expenses completely missing. Sometimes if I unsync capital one and then sync it back, it will include some of the days, but never all of them. For reference, in a month, out of 30 days, expenses on 8 or 9 of the days are completely missing so I have to add them manually. That's why I gave this three stars. If I find an app that is perfect in this, I will not be using wallet anymore.

The developers are clearly just trying to take your money and have no motivation to fix the bugs. In fact I will lower it further if no progress is made by the start of 2026!
