Weber app is buggy
Since this is the only solution to connect your igrill to the phone. And there isn’t a way to report problems, I’ll leave it here. The igrill 3 firmware has been deleted by one of the engineers who maintains their s3 bucket, this causes the application to fail to find a firmware update, I ran a simple “aws s3 ls s3://igrillotaproduction/“ to see what firmware files exist, and boom. No igrill files available. So I cannot upgrade or downgrade my firmware. It looks like the developers need to fix it. My igrill 3 firmware is set to 1.11 and it constantly disconnects from my phone when I’m grilling and the phone is right next to it.
Nice app but…
Nice little application. But at the risk of stating the obvious. It could do with alarm settings such than when a particular temperature were reached in one of the probes, it warns you of as much.
Can’t believe that this was not put in from the get go. Hence the low score.
Poor interface and lacking features
The app could do with an interface redesign. It’s not that user friendly or intuitive. Ultimately it’s a shame the developers haven’t sought to introduce a Bluetooth to WiFi link feature so a device within Bluetooth range of the iGrill3 could connect to a home wifi network and share the data with other devices over wifi. The MEATER smart meat thermometer has this feature which they call MEATER Link. This would massively increase the iGrill 3 range and avoid Bluetooth issues
Great for cooking
Great for cooking at correct temperature but only fault is the device does not beep high enough to hear it, and same goes for my tablet can’t hear when it is ready, but also find it looses connection and does not make my iPad beep so over cook sometimes.
Apart from that it’s not to bad apart from most cooking meat is more like Americans type of cooking.

Under developed app
Awful. Doesn’t run in background. When opening app it doesn’t restore instead loads from the beginning again.
Watch app is even worse shows old temps when disconnected.
Could be great but is rubbish due to a few shortcomings.
Connection probs
After using the app for the last 7 months I can say that the connection is a bit disappointing even with phone sat next to smoker. Even if I’m inside and all that’s separating me from my igrill is a glass bifold door it cuts out!
Please Weber look into the connection issues as I’m sure I’m not the only person experiencing it. Other than that (frustrating) issue it’s a great app!!
Seems to get worse each update
Used to have widget support but seems to be missing in iOS 14.x.x
Relied on this to keep a close eye on temps but now have to keep going to the app itself for this.
Can only monitor one iGrill at a time meaning that having to keep swapping & getting ‘connection lost’ messages each time. Not going out to buy one with multiple probes when already got 2 devices that work albeit individually.
