Searched specifically for web builders that would be able to be created and edited on my iPad. Wax claimed they could. Downloaded the app and went straight to the builder portion only to be directed to login into a desk top. Thanks for wasting my time.
Blocked time bug has not been fixed for weeks!
If you’re like me and your desktop is 14 years old. Not to worry, once the AI sets you up for a basic site, head over to your smartphone and prepare to be amazed and delighted. This app is super useful, but super glitchy and laggy to the point you’d almost just rather open your laptop and do it there. Especially the Inbox. It works against you in every way. Super long delay when clicking any action, the screen doesn’t move up when the keyboard pops up, the send button doesn’t work sometimes, it’s just a mess.
The core of the app is fantastic. It’s sleek, easy to navigate. But there are a few crucial issues: - When receiving a phone call on your WIX-purchased business line, you’ll get DOZENS of notifications as the phone rings. Super annoying. - Many notifications will pop up long after they’ve been deleted, cleared, or completed. Happens with Tasks a lot. - No way to see Contact labels - No way to see, create or modify proposals - No notifications on approved proposals - No view for Workflows to see where a client is at in the sales process, nor make updates - Cannot make outgoing calls or SMS messages unless you create the contact first There’s just some really huge issues that prevent us from being able to use the WIX native features unfortunately.
I have been with WIX since 2017 and my business Maverick Private Investigations Inc. has grown immensely. The USER friendly site and the professionalism that the WIX program offers online with the super great online live chat that gives you direct contact with customers is super amazing. I give it a five star recommendation. The only thing I would like access to with the WIX program would be a customer service hotline, and you could dial up and speak to somebody as issues arise. Everything about my site in one place. All my sales, all my bookings, site visits. So easy to navigate. If you have a Wix site, you need this. Very well designed app.
The fact that you cannot edit your website directly via iPadOS but you have to switch to your desktop to make changes makes this app completely unusable for me. How come it’s possible in the Weebly app, just to name another app, but not this ‘premium’ platform? Very strange.
I run my business on my iPad. It says iPad compatible but in app and online, it zooms in on the site which makes it impossible to edit anything. And if you refresh or switch or delete and restart it zooms in more. Fix. Update: app sucks so hard which is so disappointing because I like their site designs.
I’ve never written a review but my god. I have been running my business website off this for over a year now and let me say this app as more issues than anything I’ve ever used. It shuts down 50/50 after you upload a new product and that’s if you’ve ever even get the product up! Try uploading photos for 5 min I garuntee half of them won’t work. And the ones that do won’t save because the other photos didn’t. This app is a bloody nightmare
