I was really disappointed with how this app operated, forcing me to sign up with financial information just to explore the app. As soon as I realised this was the case, I went to cancel the subscription immediately, on the first day of my 7-day free trial. Despite this, I was really angry and upset to discover I’d been charged for a full year’s subscription 7 days later which Apple refuses to refund. This is an enormous cost for something I didn’t want and didn’t sign up for and has caused me more anxiety and mental health issues rather than actually assisting with this aspect of my health.
Cancelled my subscription before the end of the free trial ended Still charged. Apple refuses to refund me. For an app meant to help me manage my emotions and mental health, this has been the worst experience having a free trial.
I’m liking it a lot. I’ve been told by a magistrate at age of 17 I needed anger management 😔🥺 I am 32 now and my anger it catastrophic. I’m feeling like this app could be my answer ❤️ thanks Ahead
They say they send a reminder to cancel trial (they don’t). They say they don’t handle payments and it’s all through apple (okay bro you don’t have any control over your revenue / payments whatsoever? What a joke). They don’t respond to customer support requests. Pretty dodgy to me - don’t make my mistake and avoid this dodginess.
I have tried so many self help and journaling apps and this is the first one that really does help gain insight into yourself and the thoughts, body language, emotions and physiological responses behind behaviours. It’s educational and well constructed. Am enjoying my journey so far.
Content is simple, engaging, fun, and reality starts to help you understand your feeling better.
Keeps me in check when anger arises.
I’m only 3 days in but am loving this app so far. I really enjoy how it’s based on empirical research which is clearly shown, plus the fun, bite-sized activities/modules. Having information and techniques tailored to where you’re at is also really helpful.
Like the format, especially being able to pick specific areas and exercises you want to focus on. New users, be warned you’ll need to go through non-essential games every time you do one exercise. I just press the ‘x’ button but it feels like closing an annoying Ad and is a waste of time. Please remove gimmicky gamification features: a) tapping as many times as possible to beat a high score b) opening a treasure chest for an illustrated self-care meme
