The pay it forward program that the co-founder talks about in replies to reviews is very real and Kai the Co-founder is very kind and patient. I emailed her about it and was a bit rude at first and she still honored my pay it forward request which to me is very kind because I was being rude towards her and she didn’t have to honor my request because of my behavior which to Kai I am very sorry I didn’t mean to come off as intense as I did but she still took it upon her big heart to still give it to me. I look forward to using this app. I know this app will really help me and it’s all because of Kai and the app owners pay it forward program. I can’t say it louder DO NOT HESITATE to email the co-founder if you are Low income person interested in this app. Just don’t be like me and be kinder about it because I know the frustration of it but it’s worth reaching out for!

Ahead is helping me identify my anger trigger points and enable myself to stay grounded in the heat of the moment. I am learning to simply sense the origin feelings of anger and anxiety and use that to try to cut off and disconnect from those sensory emotions before the situation escalates due to my reactions. Ahead walks the participant through a guided program that starts at the point of sensing an oncoming feeling and helps the participant learn to identify that sensation and create a path that can help the participant overcome the and avoid the struggles that will ensue if the feelings get out of control. It is an incredible tool in my experience. It provides science backed information and is set up to be used daily, on a schedule, which keeps me focused everyday on what I am trying to achieve emotionally and driven to succeed in that pursuit. The positive feedback provided by Ahead creates a positive learning experience in learning to create a positive outlook. Excellent program!!

So far so good! It really does feel like duolingo, which is fun, and they have a free option if you skip past the subscription thingy.

I only started using the app recently but I’m already finding it helpful!

I do not understand why the developers decided to make the paid version called aheadPRO when there really is no unpaid version. I do not have access to a renewable money source and I know better than to request my dad for his hard earn money. I can not use this app because there is no exit around the aheadPRO ad. The developers made a financial barrier.

If you’re thinking about downloading it, do it. As a 28 year old woman with undiagnosed complex PTSD, this app has saved my mental health, so my life for that matter!

I love this app! It has really engaging and interactive features. The “rewards” aspect of it really makes you want to keep coming back to the app. I love how it only takes a couple min a day for me and I feel like I’m accomplishing something important for my own health.

This app has seriously helped me the way I think. I have BP2 and my depressive thoughts get the best of me sometimes. Little by little this app has taught me where these thoughts come from, why they are here (my brain trying to help me) and how I can manage/react to them better. Thank you for making this app ❤️

tried the free trial and was tricked into paying $79+ without warning. there’s also nowhere to reach anyone or to demand a refund. download if you want to get royally ripped off by thieves preying on those who just want to better their lives

Stop marketing this as being “like duolingo, but for anger.” Duolingo is free…If you don’t just care about making money, and actually want to help people, don’t put mental health resources behind a pay wall
