MEAL app is based on Harvard Medical School research, and we partner with certified nutritionists and therapists.

Great Potential - Still To Be Harnessed
After 40+ days of using the app I can post an honest review. Although I instantly liked both the concept behind MEAL (as a guide on a self learning path about mindful eating) and the execution (colourful and curated graphics, quick and diverse videos every day with daily notification to keep you accountable), the app content turned out to be repetitive in the long run. The content you are offered daily is not always new and this is less than ideal considering you are paying for it. If you ask me to pay for a subscription that lasts e.g. 12 weeks, I must assume that you have at least 12 weeks worth of different contents to offer, instead of “old chestnuts”.
Because of this, I will not be renewing my subscription.
MEAL is a great deal!
I am a wellness coach and psychotherapist. My specialty is helping people value and love themselves more on their path to creating a better world. I sense kindred spirits in the creators of this app, and I am telling my clients about it every day.I love the visuals, beautiful pictures of food and people enjoying eating while they practice loving themselves., and the simple, practical applications of mindful awareness. I also appreciate your efforts to be inclusive and engage all kinds of learners. My one suggestion is to add interactive components like polls, quizzes, and art activities for self- reflection beyond journaling questions. Thank you so much for your contribution to wellness and the world. P.S. if you want to draw in more women from older generations, feel free to contact me.

I wa shocked and disgusted with the swearing in this app. Not helpful.
Great free version to start with
This is a really great app when you're first starting to eat intuitively. It is truly an app designed by women for women. My only critique is that I wish you could put in more of your information so that you could skipp irrelevant days. Cycle tracking doesn't apply to me, for example.
Could’ve Been 5 Stars
I was LOVING this app. I started using it again recently and it has been on the same lessons for a week now. I’ve gone through them already. Realized I wasn’t logged in, so I logged in and went through them again. It STILL isn’t advancing me to the next lessons. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Still nothing.
Loving Meal
I am enjoying the Meal app. I’m finding it encouraging and comforting. It is helping me to identify those thoughts that tell me that I am not enough and how to deal with them by kicking them across the street! Stay strong! You got this!!

This is a great app. Lots of content, videos and articles to keep you engaged but in a way that feels effortless. I’ve never reviewed an app before but I believe this one deserves kudos. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and I feel like it is helping a lot.
Impressive and surprising
I am actually enjoying and finding this more useful than I expected. I love being able to bookmark/save certain slides. It could use something to help stay more organized like a check mark when you finished a part so I know where I left off. I like the daily reminder to remember to do the modules.
