The old version would immediately bring you to a screen for the room you were in, allowing you to change the brightness or color immediately. Now you have to select the bulb before doing so, which is annoying. They tried to add more bells and whistles that nobody wanted. Whoever insisted on this overhaul should be fired and pelted with expired cheese.

Pretty intuitive app but the design of the widgets is HORRIBLE. There is also no option for the widget to be a cute square (with just a simple on and off option).. the only options that exist are huge blocks with weird black borders… seriously who designed this?

i’ve been trying to set up my new light bulb for a while now, i can’t get it to even pair to attempt to use the app provided.

i was hesitant to try when seeing reviews mentioning ios18, but tried anyway. lights connected fine and all functions work nicely. only thing i didn't understand with manual set up is I had to physically turn the light on and off during discovery. once I did that it configured quickly.

This app is awful and incredibly difficult to understand. Not user friendly. Now I can’t connect my bulbs and I have three.

Not sure what you guys changed but the new app bricked all my lights. They won’t pair, they won’t show up for WiFi setup, and they repeatedly just double flash and won’t strobe to pair. I will never buy another Wiz product again.

Not sure what’s going on but I don’t think the app is compatible with iOS 18. The app would not control my lights, I’d click the control option and nothing and shortcuts were not working so I tried reinstalling the app and now I can’t even sign in. Just says error occurred, rendering my lights completely useless as smart lights. Pretty unacceptable if you ask me.

I love the lights but the app is always frustrating. Like now…. Headed on holiday and I can’t turn off the automation. “Unknown issue, try again soon.” Please update the app to fix the bugs!!!

When I first purchased what Wiz bulbs setup was easy and years later, I purchased some more and still can’t get them to connect. I even gifted some and those won’t connect either. I’m disappointed. The ones I was able to connect work great. I really like the automation feature.
