Want to pair a smart light on 5ghz? Not possible with v2. Once you connect the light the way they tell you, want to control it with your phone? Nope not possible with v2. What abhorrent blue logo and app UI that isn’t neutral at all, absolutely they’ve got you with that. Pathetic app. Miss v1 which for some reason doesn’t even load for me after they released this crap.

Integration with Alexa results in error

The whole purpose of this app was to add lights. While the app promises to do everything but delivers nothing, even after 30 minutes of serching I couldn’t add the lights. Why is it so complicated. And I am an IT person. Please get some UI designers to design the app.

Pairing with ALEXA is very difficult. Also pairing normal light is also very.

It loops between can’t connect and try other Wi-Fi. And trying to connect to cloud etc for 30 minutes and I gave up a few years old bulb

Single handedly destroying the luminaire experience , this version is just a better looking worse functioning downgrade over the last one. Absolute garbage , takes 10 years to do a basic pairing , feels like it was created fir the sole reason of giving people essential hypertension by a bunch of no good amateur interns , the only coz it needs is it’s destruction

Previous app is connected with all the lights but the new app is so bad i am not able to connect my lights and the customer service they are responding on call . I am going to through these products and never going to buy philips products.

I tried connecting my lights several times but it did not connect. The lights were working fine with the old app

There doesn’t seem to be any method in the app which is visible that helps u connect to HomeKit.

The app is good. it would be even better of there was an iPad optimised version of app. Please add this.
