Tried your app in Singapore. Never mind taxi drivers who can barely speak English, they can't even find you! It's both the app's geolocation and rubbish pick up spot interface. Wasted an hour setting up the app and waiting for ordered taxis who just pass by the approximate location you ordered, give or take 50m and put you as "no show", which makes it impossible to get the car you ordered.
I also suspect car number mistakes, as once a driver miraculously passed by me looking for the person who ordered the taxi and find nobody. And I got another "no show" as he disappeared, the car with a different number.
Conclusion: the taxi stands, even with queues, proved a lot faster and more efficient at actually getting cars.
No problems
I’m German too and cannot agree to the many complaints. Enrollment was easy with a German number. I use WhatsApp and do not know, if it’s working without. The app can be used without a Singapore mobile number. That’s a big advantage compared to other apps because I’m using an eSim with a data package only.
Ohne WhatsApp nicht nutzbar
Diese App funktioniert nur, wenn man WhatsApp installiert hat. Für mich damit völlig unbrauchbar!
Email verification not working
Why the hell is it necessary to register additionally to the mobile number with an email address?
Okay, surprisingly, registration with a German mobile number worked. But for the email verification the email is not sent. I cannot find it in any of my email folders, even not the spam folder.
Conclusion: App not useable.
International prefix automatically changes to +65
Not usable for any phone number except Singapore ones. That is bad, as the app specifically asked me for the international prefix and then discarded that info directly. If it is not possible, then why give the option in the first place? Bad software!
Just a pain
So at least you have to start the app twice before any response happening. 1st time always stuck on loading screen.
Beside that. Seems that Comfort don’t pay the taxi drivers enough to work for them - barely ever any taxi is available.
Worst option for Singapore
This is the worst taxi app available in Singapore. Especially the „new design“ is unbearable. Always some pop ups disturbing while using.
Customer service is not integrated. Only a chat bot, which is never helpful.
Not for international customers
It seems impossible to activate the app with a international phone number. No help from the support, real bad experience.
Not working
I tried to register many times. The app suggests and accepts international cellular phone numbers but it does not send any verification code.
The updated version for iOS11 does not work with international numbers either. Version for iOS12 dies not work with international numbers.
Update Nov 2019
IOS 13.2.3 does not changed anything. Not working in Singapore with international numbers. OTP is nit sent. The app will be deleted.
Doesn’t work with German mobile number
No need to bother when you are from abroad. You will not receive a confirmation code. Also not possible to set up with google log in.
