Approximately 5 hours ago, I diligently used your booking system to schedule a home doctor service. To my dismay, after enduring a prolonged hour on hold, I was informed that my booking did not register in your database.
This situation is particularly distressing as I am currently unwell and in pain. The sheer inconvenience of this ordeal has been exacerbated by the fact that I was then told I must wait an additional estimated 4 hours for a resolution. This is far from acceptable.
What adds to the gravity of this situation is that I am currently dealing with a medical issue, and the disregard for my time and well-being is alarming. It is inconceivable that a home doctor service, designed to provide medical assistance, would ignore a 5-hour booking wait time and subject me to an additional 4-hour wait due to technical issues on your end.
Furthermore, the lack of sympathy during my communication with your representatives only compounds the distress caused by this unfortunate incident. I find it hard to comprehend how a service dedicated to healthcare can operate in such a manner.
Literally NEVER worked
I've tried using this service via the app only because they never answer the phone. I've tried a few times over the last few years and literally not once have I ever been seen by a doctor. I did get the confirmation SMS once - once - but, the doc still never showed. This is a joke, a sham, a national embarrassment, or a mix of the above.
UPDATE: tried again tonight. After 2 hours, I was called by Gabriela. She advised that there are no doctors in my Sydney metro area. When I said 'hmm, that sounds just like all the online reviews', she abruptly cut me off with 'fine, well, I'll just cancel this for you, then!' and hung up on me... I mean the point of the call was to cancel anyway, but that's not the correct attitude when dealing with the infirm. This app is a waste of digital space in my phone.
Do not bother with this service
I made an appointment to be told that due to unforeseen circumstances a doctor cannot make it to my house & a teleconference will be completed. My 4 year old was very sick & I couldn’t get into any doctors for 48 hours. They never called. And then sent a message after an hour saying they were unable to contact me when I’d sat with my phone beside me for an hour. No missed calls. I rand & waited 22 mins before being hung up on. I rang back & waited an hour & 8 mins before I gave up. Your are a complete disgrace
Unhappy
Have always used them in the past but ever since covid the doctors seem to be scared when called out to see patients with colds and need antibiotics. Booked on Monday for the service to have it called off, then also booked in today to see my 4 sick relatives and once again called off but offered telehealth. You need to get Doctors who arent pansies and scared to do their job and a freaked out over Covid.
They couldn't be bothered and cancelled on me
I waited for hours for a telehealth consultation, then I received a text saying that they couldn't call and they cancelled. There were no missed calls. Just a cancellation. Very poor!
Use to be a great service but not anymore
This was once a great service but has now gone down the toilet. When your doctors closed they state you’re not qualified for a bull billed consult but $45 for weekday and $60 for weekend telehealth consult only. Very disappointing this service has been degraded to this.
App is no longer running instead directs you to a web page as well which doesn’t remember your previous information so you have to refill everything including your Medicare number.
Seems really useful
Just ran this up to request an after-hours medical visit. Most of it was simple. The map search for GP clinic didn’t find any in the whole state, and I wasn’t sure if entering correctly.
Got it in the end.
While I could go to the website, I prefer the simplicity of a dedicated communication channel.
Super quick & helpful
My son has cold/flu like symptoms so was unable to go to any gp in person due to covid and our family gp is closed on weekends . I made a booking through the app at 4pm, received a text advising Dr would arrive between 5pm-6pm and he arrived by 5.15pm. Super efficient and was able to provide a script for what was needed.
I did book two times they never show up
I did book in a two different location they never show up a lady called me and said sorry we don’t have doctors in the area
Worth the wait
I’ve used this service a number of times and it has saved us a lot of time and worry.
